The Barton Homes Group is still a family run business with years of experience managing high quality residential and holiday park homes to buy and let.

Part of the Family

Barton Park Homes began in 1978 when Charlie (Snr) and Anita Barton opened their first residential park at Westgate in Morecambe, Lancashire. At that time there were 20 static caravans on the site. Thirty two years later the park still remains in the family.

Since 1978, Barton Park Homes have proved especially popular with semi retired and retired people on the lookout for a new way of life. We have gone from strength to strength, developing parks all over the country and we now have parks in desirable and unique locations across England.

Each new park home we order is specially designed to suit an individual plot, enabling you to optimise the plot to its fullest potential, for example, designing the floor plan of the home to match the sunrise or sunset, landscaping the gardens and constructing the conservatory so they are in the best possible position for taking in the view, getting the most light and the most privacy.

All our homes are luxuriously furnished and often come with stunning panoramic views from your very own garden, patio, decking or veranda.

Every home we sell – whether it is a fully furnished and equipped show home, or made-to-order, is designed to meet a customer’s own personal specification.

We work with leading manufacturers; the ones that we are confident will provide the quality that our residents deserve. All of our homes have mains electricity, gas central heating, water and BT phone lines - and all of your carpets, furniture and soft furnishings will be carefully co-ordinated by interior designers.

Modern kitchens and bathrooms are luxuriously fitted with the latest appliances. You have the option of including extra little luxury touches such as utility rooms, power showers, corner baths, studies and even plasma televisions. We have paid careful attention to the finer details, ensuring that there is lots of storage, the beds are comfortable and the sockets are plentiful.

All homes come with the following as standard...

1. The Home Exchange Scheme First we determine the current price of your property by getting a valuation by two local estate agents.

Secondly, once the valuation is complete, we then compare the price of your property with your chosen park home. You will then receive an offer in writing including information such as expected resale value, comparable examples and market conditions. In cases where your home is worth more than the park home property, we will negotiate the cash difference to be paid to you.

Finally, once a full survey has been carried out on the property and both parties are happy with the figures, we will agree a completion date. This can be as little as seven days away if speed is of the essence, or up to 10 weeks away if some extra time is needed.

“We have been in our park home for just over a year now and, of course, we had the usual doubts and fears about whether we were making the right move but once the move was completed it did not take us long to realise that we had made the right decision.
