This is a good thing, because the ILP can be valuable for your future! Eliminate all wrong answers Process of Elimination. Answer all questions No BLANKS! Pace yourselfWear a watch that day to keep track of the time. PRACTICE! You will gain confidence and a lot of extra points by doing so. How are you going to prepare for the ACT? Here are some resources that are available to you : Method Test Prep ACT Practice Test Results Use your ILP Username and Password to access this program (see attached pamphlet for more information). Two free practice tests that allow students to time-out so that you can come back to the timed test. Immediate results and feedback video, audio, and written explanations Plus, students can earn extra credit!! ACT Online Prep This year, HHS got a brand new ACT prep website that is developed by the ACT people. This site offers additional lessons and practice tests so that students can work on the areas of weakness as identified from the ACT Practice Test. Lessons and practice tests available. Juniors that complete one practice test and log 20 hours of practice will get to stay in the gym after the ACT for an afternoon of relaxation and special treats. Research shows that students that take advantage of these sites can raise their composite score 3 to 5 points. What happens if you do not meet the college readiness benchmarks? English Students scoring a 15 or below will be required to take Transitional English class in addition to their English IV class. Math Students scoring a 16 or below will be required to take College / Career Ready math in addition to their fourth math credit. Reading Students scoring a 17 or below will be required to take a Transitional English class in addition to their English IV class. 100% of the class of 2016 will be CCR!
