• User Roles - PearsonAccessnext users must be assigned roles.
• Permissions - Each User Role contains a set of permissions that determine which tasks a specific User Role can perform in PearsonAccessnext. Permissions are bundled into User Roles. • Once a user has a specific role, they can grant that role to
another user account.

• CDE will pull the student registration file from PBA on January 19 and upload into EOY (students with current paper assignments will be registered for EOY by CDE).

Personal Needs Profile (PNP)
What is a Personal Needs Profile?
The Personal Needs Profile (PNP) is used to gather information regarding a student’s testing condition, materials, or accessibility features and accommodations that are needed to take a PARCC ELA/L and Math assessment.
PNP is not available for Science and Social Studies assessment.

From the home screen, select Import / Export Data under SETUP.

Click on blue errors to refresh to see when the export is complete (an email will also be generated when complete). Select Download File to view PNP.

• The following columns will be automatically generated for all students based on the M are the same as the Student Registration File.
• A – State Abbreviation• B – Testing District• C – Testing School• D – State Student Identifier• E – Local Student Identifier• F – PARCC Student ID• G – Last or Surname• H – First Name
• I – Middle Name• J – Birthdate• K – Sex• L – Test Code• M – Format
• You will need to complete the remaining columns based on students’ accommodations and accessibility features.
• Most field entries are either Y or blank (see PNP PPT or module for details)• Since there are rows for all students, you will have many blank entries
*Remember to export the PNP after all students are registered, and import prior to proctor caching .
Next, click on Import / Export Data under SETUP.

• Select the gray “Review” button at the top left corner of your tests.• Select the blue “End Section” button in the middle right of your screen.• Select the green “Continue” button .• A Section Exit Warning screen will pop up. Select “Yes” to confirm that you
want to leave this Unit/Section.

• In the top right hand corner of your screen, select the gray button next to your name and choose the option “Logout of TestNav.”
• This message appears, “I want to exit this test and finish later.”• Select the blue “Save and Return Later” button.

Answers” button. • Select the green “Yes, Submit Final Answers” to the message
