the “Dreams of Wilderness” interactive exhibition is situated in the heart of the Eifel National Park at the International Place Vogelsang IP. In addition to visiting the exhibition, it is an ideal starting point for guided ranger tours and horse-drawn carriage rides. It also lies on the route of the challenging multi-day hiking trails known as the Wilderness Trail and Eifelsteig.

The site has had an eventful history – the National Socialists began building the “Ordensburg Vogelsang” here in 1934. Nowadays, it is an international centre for tolerance, diversity and peaceful coexistence.

We invite you to touch the exhibits as you walk around the exhibition, which is also a sensory experience for the visually and physically impaired people thanks to the barrier-free guidance system.

The key content is conveyed in German, English, French and Dutch, and is additionally available in German in simple language, raised print and in Braille.

Media guides can be hired. They provide information in several different languages and in German sign language.

All rooms, including the bathroom facilities, are accessible to wheelchairs, buggies and rollators. There are plenty of places to sit and rest in the exhibiti-on.
