ESTHER DE KONINGACTRESS AND WRITERIn each newsletter, we will interview someone who we think has an interesting view on the arts, society and other related topics.

“We are all human beings; but we are all animals too”We are sitting in an oasis; the backyard of Esther de Koning’s house. On the little veranda, covered in sun and silence. Home is where she writes. Here she finds the space for imagination, most important for any artist. Fantasy, dreams: not only neces-sary to survive, but also tools to enlighten dark spaces, and to create space. In her work, Esther always tries to reach the child, sometimes hidden in a grown-up. We talk about the role of the artist in nowadays world. Read more here.
