We Will Love and Care for you for Four Years…and not five or

six

• You need 24 credits to graduate from Wilson

• You can earn 7 credits per year• Over four years, you can earn 28• You must earn at least six credits and have

had passed Algebra I and English I to be promoted to the Tenth Grade

 

Grade Point Average (GPA)

• Your GPA is your Bank Account• You accumulate grade points based on your

performance in your classes• A grade of an “A” will earn you 4 points• A grade of an “F” will earn you 0 points• Your GPA is determined by the number of

points that you earn divided by the number of courses that you have taken

 

The Higher Your GPA Is:

• The more choices and options that you will have at the end of your high school career

• The more likely you will be admitted to the college or university of your choice

• The more scholarship money you will be eligible to receive to pay for your education after high school

• Had 1123 acceptances to 234 colleges and universities

• Reduced suspensions by 50%• Highest percentage of scholars earning

honor roll at 52%• Earned $28.5 million in scholarship awards
