Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) 2018

• Please proceed to the FAS Booth/General Office for application forms for both MOE FAS and School FAS Forms.

• If your child has already applied for MOE FAS in primary school, she will receive the approval letter via the Form Teacher.

• Submit Declaration of Mode of Transport Form by 5 Jan

• Application forms need to be submitted by 29 December 2017.


Higher Mother Tongue (HMT)• Students who are offered Higher Mother

Tongue (HMT) by MOE (based on PSLE results) will be given Form A.

• Submit Form A to the Form Teacher today or to the General Office by 27 Dec 2017.

• Higher Chinese (HCL) lessons are conducted in the school.

• Higher Malay (HML) and Higher Tamil (HTL) lessons will be conducted at other centres.


THIRD LANGUAGE

• Eligible students who have applied for 3rd Language will be informed if your application is successful/unsuccessful.

• 3rd Language includes Chinese (Special Programme)[CSP], Malay (Special Programme)[MSP], Bahasa Indonesia (BI), Arabic, French, German and Spanish.

• 3rd Languages are conducted outside curriculum hours.

Bus Concession Pass• All Students entering Secondary One in Jan

2018 will be issued with a new Secondary level School Smart Card (SSC)

• Students can continue to use Primary SSC for concessionary travel till end Apr 2018 while waiting for the Secondary SSC to be ready

• Can purchase the Bus Concession Pass (BCP) using your Primary SSC but need to purchase the BCP for Secondary School.

• To induct new Sec 1 students and help them manage the transition from primary to secondary school

• Structured activities for the Form Teachers and students to get to know one another

• To develop students’ socio-emotional competencies

• Compulsory for all Sec 1 students• 4-day Orientation programme

(2,3, 4 and 5 Jan 2018), which ends at 5.30 pm daily

• Parents’ Info Night on Friday, 5 Jan 2018 at 6.00 pm

• All students will be dismissed after the Parents’ Info Night at 7.30 pm


Payment for Level-wide Programme• Objective: To streamline our processes and

reduce the administration workload of the teachers.
