DEPARTURE/ARRIVAL TIMES

O Alternative High Students:

O Bus will depart Campbell at 8:15 a.m.

O Students may wait in lower cafeteria or by flag pole

O Bus will depart BOCES at 2:45 p.m.

O Morning BOCES bus will depart Campbell at 8:25 a.m.

and will depart BOCES at 11:15 a.m.

O Afternoon BOCES bus will depart Campbell at 11:40

a.m. and will depart BOCES at 2:45 p.m.

PLEASE BE ON TIME…THE BUS WILL NOT WAIT

emergency arises in which you feel that you need

to drive to BOCES, please complete the one day

driving pass from BOCES and submit to Mrs.

Kimball at least one day in advance for permission.

Failure to receive permission will result in

consequences.

O Alternative High students must board the bus at

the Campbell-Savona Jr/Sr high school. Alternate

stops are not available.

PARKINGO All students need to register their cars with Mrs. Galligan in the

Attendance Office. O Students must attend a Driving Class with Mr. Allen and SRO

Fish on September 15 at 7:45 a.m. in the Mac Lab.O Student parking is by the gym in the last two rows. All students

will have an assigned parking spot.O Please refer to traffic flow map for driving directions.O Students must leave the parking lot by 3:10 pm or they will have

to wait until all buses have left the bus circle before leaving. This is monitored daily. BOCES students may leave school grounds upon return from BOCES at the end of the school day.

O Do not park in the visitor or handicapped parking spots or another assigned parking space. Only park in your assigned spot.

O Use the crosswalks to cross through the bus circle.O Driving privileges can be suspended for your first infraction. O Speed Limit is 10mph

ATTENDANCE

O Attend school every day

O Be on time to school

O It is your responsibility to make up work you have

missed

O Do not leave school property without permission

O Written excuses are submitted to Mrs. Galligan

O Sign in/out of school with Mrs. Galligan at CS

and Mrs. Almeter at BOCES.

FIELD TRIPS

O Students must get permission from teachers to attend any field trip and must return these forms no later than ONE WEEK prior to the field trip. This form must be signed by the student’s parent/guardian. BOCES field trips will require the Mrs. Kimball’s signature. The form will not be signed unless all teachers and parent signatures are on the form.

O Attendance, discipline and grades will be considered when granting/denying field trip requests.

DRESS CODEO A student’s dress should not disrupt or interfere with the

educational process.

O Clothing may not include vulgar or obscene messages or promote inappropriate behaviors (alcohol, drugs, violence, etc).

O Hats and head coverings are not permitted on the Campbell Campus.

O Shorts, skirts and dresses may not be short.

O All undergarments must be covered with clothing.

O Spaghetti straps, halter tops, and low necklines are not allowed.

DIGNITY ACTO Engage in any act of discrimination or harassment as defined in

this code.O The Dignity Act states that NO student shall be subjected to

harassment or discrimination by employees or students on school property or at a school function based on their actual or perceivedrace, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion, religious practice, disability, sexual orientation, gender, or sex.

O Discrimination and harassment means an intentional act against any student, on school property or at a school function, that creates a hostile environment by conduct, with or without physical contact by verbal threats, intimidation or abuse, of such a severe nature that it:

O Has or would have the effect of unreasonably and substantially interfering with a student’s educational performance, opportunities or benefits, or mental, emotional physical well-being; or

O Reasonably causes or would reasonably be expected to cause a student to fear for his or her physical safety.

CYBERBULLYING

O Bullying that takes place using electronic

technology. Examples include: mean text

messages or emails, rumors sent by email

or posted on social networking sites, and

embarrassing pictures, videos, websites or

fake profiles.

O All cyberbullying should be reported to the

Assistant Principal’s Office.

AFTER SCHOOL GUIDELINES

O The school closes at 3:20 p.m. every day

O STUDENTS MUST BE IN A SUPERVISED AREA AFTER 3:20 PM

O Students may not wander the hallways or loiter in the honor pass lounge or hallways.

O Students may report to the following supervised areas at 3:20 p.m.

O SOS/Detention in room 1077 Monday through Friday.

O Students may make arrangements in advanced with a staff member to report to their classroom. Staff member must be present.

O Students not attending one of the above supervised activities must report to the Assistant Principal’s office to call home for transportation.

ACADEMIC WATCH LIST (AWL)

O Students who receive a grade of 69 or below for one or more courses at the end of the five week midterm date and/or at the end of the 10 week marking period are placed on the academic watch list.

O An updated academic watch list is posted every Monday. The list runs from Monday to Sunday. All students and the course or courses they are on the list for are listed on this document.

O Students remain on the academic watch list until the next grading period (5 or 10 week grades).

O An “Okay” will appear next to the name of each student on the list who has met the requirements and can participate in the following week’s activities. To earn an okay students must do both of the following:

O Attend two sessions of SOS

O Complete work for the week that meets our academic watch list standards of 70 percent or above.

DRUG, ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO FREE ZONE

O No alcohol, drugs, cigarettes or chew are

permitted on school property at any time

O New York State Police Canine Unit will do
