We updated this slide with clearer information about your ETO and Sick Time transition.

I’m going to just click through <CLICK> Educational assistance and Adoption Assistance.

<CLICK> And the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

<CLICK> Magellan offers a paid-time off program which combines vacation and sick time into one allotment. The chart shows the PTO you will be eligible for depending on your years of service and management level. And your years of service will be counted.

As you know, our program is a use it or lose it program meaning you cannot carry over days that you have not used, however, the Senior Whole Health ETO and Sick time will be carried to Magellan in the following manner:

If you had ETO accrued through 2017, we will automatically credit you with PTO up to 7 daysfor that 2017 accrued ETO. The remaining 2017 accrued ETO, if any, will be paid out to you.

Your earned and accrued ETO from 2018 will be brought over to Magellan’s PTO program and you’ll start accruing in Workday beginning in April. You will be able to carry any unused PTO from Senior Whole Health into 2019, but it must be used by the end of 2019 or it will be lost or transferred to Magellan’s Emergency Sick time. At Magellan, PTO is paid out at termination; Emergency Sick time is not.

If you have Sick time at Senior Whole Health, you will be credited with up to 60 hours of Emergency Sick time at Magellan. This time can be carried from year to year, but this Emergency Sick time will not exceed 60 hours.

<CLICK> The parking and commuter benefit at Magellan is the same as Senior Whole Health, which allows you to contribute up to the IRS limits of $260 for parking and $260 for commuting each month. However, At SWH you pay for your transit benefit during the month you are using it. For example, the expense for your March pass is deducted from your pay in March.

If you enroll in Magellan’s transit program, you pay for your transit benefit the month beforethe benefit is available to you. For example, if you enroll with TransitChek in April, payroll deductions will begin in May and the money is available to you beginning in June.

<CLICK> The table here shows how the transition to the Magellan benefit will work:

In April, you won’t have any payroll deductions for parking, so you’ll want to use up your current transit card with Senior Whole Health, if any balance remains. In April also, you may wish to enroll in the Magellan transit benefit.

In May, if you elect to enroll in Magellan’s program and do so by April 27, payroll deductions will begin for you in May, and you’ll receive your cards or passes the last week of May.

In June, you can begin using the Magellan Transitchek cards.

Enrollment instructions are available to you on VERN once you are onboarded.

Magellan Health helps millions of Americans live healthy, vibrant lives. We are one company with two unique platforms – Magellan Healthcare and Magellan Rx Management. We connect behavioral, physical, specialty and social needs with high-impact clinical programs to ensure care that’s individualized, coordinated and cost-effective.

Magellan launched the first Medicaid-specialty plan in the country with Magellan Complete Care of Florida. We have a very close working relationship with AHCA in Florida and have demonstrated significant cost savings and good quality of care for that challenged population. It's what helped us gain further business in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

We believe that these capabilities of long-term support services in special populations is a powerful platform and unique platform to be able to grow. In addition to TMG of Wisconsin, the coming together of AlphaCare of NY and Senior Whole Health further expands our footprint in this space.

We're the largest manager of medical pharmacy, meaning that these are the drugs, about half of which are specialty drugs, that don't flow through the PBM benefit but instead flow through the medical benefit, largely unmanaged. Certainly, unmanaged by the PBMs. This is why we've been so successful in the industry. We have 13.3 million covered lives in this space. Again, we're the largest, not by a little bit, but by a wide margin within medical Pharmacy Management. It's a far more complicated area to manage that requires a higher degree of specialization to be able to effectively manage these costs.

We're also the leading manager nationally, which gives us a great place with the directors of Medicaid across the country, with over 50% of the states utilizing our services to manage their Medicaid pharmacy spend. So we negotiate with manufacturers, we set up networks, and we respond to calls and do all this work for the Medicaid population, again, across the country. Again, it gives us a great platform to launch, not only our pharmacy services, but again, other services as we sell into state-Medicaid initiatives.

Our Magellan subsidiaries and affiliates do business across the United States and the District of Columbia and we have a presence on more than 160 military installations worldwide. Overall, we serve more than 33 million lives through our Healthplanbusiness and over 12 million members through our Pharmacy Management business.

Our company’s headquarters are in Scottsdale, Arizona. We have close to 10,000 employees, contractors and temps, many of whom work at home or in client locations.

We have large corporate offices in: St. Louis, MO, and Care Management Centers and other offices in about 20 different additional operating sites.

Our core values form the foundation of our company’s culture. Most of these are obvious, so I’ll summarize it by saying…

We genuinely believe that the culture we create inside the company with each other –how we treat each other, how we approach our work - will carry over and influence how we treat our customers, our providers and most especially, the people we care for.

Your first “technology” you’ve already experienced is your Welcome Website. As we get further into March, look for more information to be posted there, especially on the FAQ’s page.

This is your main source of information until you come on our systems and platforms April 1st.

12

The next platform you are likely to experience is Workday, where Magellan employees go to complete employment-related tasks such as see their pay slip, submit timesheets, request time off, and enroll in benefits. Next week, you’ll be given access to Workday. You’ll need to go in and complete a number of what we call “Onboarding” tasks which we’ll talk about in more detail shortly.

CLICK After you come on our systems and platforms on April 1st, you’ll have access to our company’s news app; MagellanNOW. We encourage you to download it so you can get informed and stay connected.

CLICK VERN is our Virtual Employee Resource Network. This is a searchable knowledge base employees can access any time to get answers to common HR questions without having to sit on hold or wait for a call back. For those issues that cannot be answered through the search, employees can create a case and submit it via VERN for an HR Representative to research and reply.

CLICK Another resource you will have access to is Saba, our online learning management system. You will use Saba to take Required Compliance Training courses that will be assigned to your “My Learning” section and under the Take Charge tab, is online, self-directed orientation to Magellan for both newly joining employees and managers/leaders. Saba also houses professional and leadership development content.

If your head is spinning, I agree, it is a lot to take in. That’s why we have Okta, our Single Sign On portal that puts all your applications in one place, and best of all – streamlines your access to them. After you set yourself up the first time, you never have to remember User Names or Passwords again! Okta also makes it easy to work on your phone, tablet or desktop.

Coming back to Workday. This is our HR platform, where everyone will go to complete their Onboarding Tasks, enroll in benefits, see their pay slip, approve timesheets, and submit and request time off.

You will have access to Workday next week. Everyone will receive an email with links to Workday. You should pay attention to your Workday Inbox and make sure you have completed all your onboarding tasks and notifications.

Another worklet to pay attention to is the Job Aids worklet where you can find a number of short videos you can watch to get familiar with using Workday and there are also step by step guides to help you complete tasks.

All Senior Whole Health employees will receive an email with a link to complete their onboarding tasks. You will have until March 30th to complete them.

This slide and the next show a job aid/step-by-step guide for completing Onboarding Tasks.

It involves Accessing Workday, using your Inbox to Receive Onboarding Tasks, and then working your way through them.

16

You can see down the left side, the rest of the tasks that need to be done.

<CLICK> When you have completed your Onboarding Tasks (step 10), and it’s after April 1st, you will receive your Benefits Enrollment task.

Even if you don’t plan to enroll in medical benefits, you still need to work your way through the screens to enter information for beneficiaries for life insurance.

Like Senior Whole Health, Magellan has an Employee Handbook which is reviewed and updated on an annual basis.

One of your Onboarding Tasks in Workday will be to acknowledge that you have received and read the Employee Handbook. The Handbook includes a variety of HR, Corporate Security, Corporate Compliance and IT policies and procedures.

19

Page 20: Welcome and Introductions. - Magellan Health...completed all your onboarding tasks and notifications. Another worklet to pay attention to is the Job Aids worklet where you can find

As you would expect, there are some differences in policies; this slide outlines some of those differences.

You will be hearing more about Magellan’s employee relations model at the end of the month closer to the time you will come on our systems; and about Magellan’s approach to goals and performance (Performance Connections).

Magellan is a Tobacco-Free Campus, and this applies to all areas of the property, both inside and outside the building.

In the next slide, we’ll talk a little bit about the Background Check and Drug Screen policies – these are currently posted on the Welcome site for your convenience.

This is just a quick overview of some of the differences in policy. As you familiarize yourself with it and have questions, you can direct them to me (Alli).

<CLICK> Employment with Magellan is contingent upon the successful completion of a satisfactory background investigation and drug screening. <CLICK>

<CLICK> Here’s how it works: you’ll get an email from our vendor, Certiphi, with instructions on what to do and when. The drug screening appointments must be completed with 48 hours of receipt of the email, which we are targeting the first group of about 200 to go out March 26. Another 200 will be generated on April 2 and the final group on April 9.

MANAGER SESSION ONLY: We are asking managers to be a role model and arrange to have your own drug screening and background check completed on time, familiarize yourself with the policy so you can support your employees and answer their questions.
