- RUNUP HERE, then continue taxi.

- Ensure ALL aircraft clear runway 27L hold bar

• All Heat Leads Squawk 5300 (all else 1200)

• Callsign will be: Heat12 or “Heat one-two”

• No Takeoff / Landing Clearances issued (all preventive control for landing events and message drop)

• ATC will “Safety Observe”

• Heat Lead calls ready.

• Tower will approve operation on Runway 9L or 27R

• ALL aircraft report PRIOR to turning base (IE: “Dash 1 base”, “Dash 2 base”, “Dash 3 base”, “Dash 4 base”)

• Use NAV callsign (NAV one-three)

• ATIS is critical (be aware of special instructions)

• Arrival Check-in: NAV callsign, ATIS code, and position ONLY

• Contact State Tower between 10 to 7 miles out
