WELCOMEEnter the Ross School of Business through the front entrance, 701 Tappan Street, Ann Arbor.

❙ The main Ross building opened in 2009.

❙ Stephen M. Ross graduated from the University of Michigan Business School in 1962 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He went on to become founder and chairman of a large real-estate development fi rm in New York City.

❙ In 2004, Ross donated $100 million for reconstruction of the main building at the business school.

❙ In 2013, Ross donated an additional $200 million to be distributed between the Ross School of Business and the university’s athletic department. He remains the university’s largest donor.

❙ The Ross School of Business is LEED certifi ed, recognized for using sustainable materials and numerous environmentally friendly features, including a “living roof” made of grass for insulation.

❙ Beyond the main building, the Ross campus also includes Wyly Hall, home to our Executive Education programs, and the Executive Learning & Conference Center, o� ering full-service hotel rooms and fi ne dining. Both buildings front on East University Avenue.

1A. ROBERTSON AUDITORIUM

From the Tappan Street entrance, walk straight down the main hall, past the stairs on the left. Turn left at the “Butterfi eld Horses” sculptures, part of an extensive art collection found throughout the Ross campus.

If no event is taking place, feel free to look inside.

❙ Future location for Ross Career Services, including interview rooms.

❙ To the right of the new building, fully renovated space will house a reimagined Kresge Business Library, Ross academic advisors and the program o� ces.

1B. CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

❙ Near Blau Auditorium, you may see recruiters speaking with students. Nationally recognized companies visit Ross to connect with students about internship or job opportunities.

1C. DAVIDSON WINTER GARDEN

Return to the large, open atrium o� the Tappan Street entrance; this is the Winter Garden. As you walk through, feel free to grab a bite to eat at Seigle Café or a drink at Starbucks.

❙ Used for group projects, collaborative work, and meetings of student organizations.

❙ Equipped with HDTV screens with teleconferencing capability and whiteboards for brainstorming.

❙ Online room reservation system, displayed on the small screen next to each door.

1E. GROUP STUDY ROOMS

Located on the main fl oor and throughout the building.

❙ Integrated technology in all classrooms includes projection screens, interactive resources, and outlets for student laptops on classroom tables.

❙ U-shaped classrooms allow for great conversations and inclusive interactions.

❙ Our curriculum emphasizes peer-to-peer and student-to-professor interactions that cultivate learning by doing.

1D. CLASSROOMS

Located on the main fl oor alongside the Winter Garden, on the lower level, and on the second fl oor.

❙ Includes a mock trading fl oor, e-lab, and electronic modular classroom.

❙ Students can earn certifi cations in Fact Set and Bloomberg. They have access to the Dow Jones Newswire, Barra Portfolio Manager, and other software services.

❙ The Maize and Blue Student Fund is a student-managed investment fund that o� ers real-world learning in asset valuation, equity research, and portfolio management.

❙ Skills gained here prove greatly benefi cial when interviewing for opportunities in fi nance, the stock exchange, or the international market.

0A. TOZZI ELECTRONIC BUSINESS AND FINANCE CENTER

Take the stairs next to Starbucks down to the lower level. If the lab is open and a class is not in session, feel free to ask Tozzi Manager Kai Petainen your questions.

❙ Personal trainers are o� ered, as well as classes, locker rooms, and towel service.

❙ There is a small fee each semester to gain gym access.

❙ ZLI o� ers Ross students the community, network, curriculum, and support necessary to succeed as corporate or autonomous entrepreneurs.

❙ Entrepalooza and the Michigan Growth Capital Symposium bring students together with national business leaders to kick-start ideas.

❙ The Dare to Dream grant program provides fi nancial resources (up to $5,000) to students engaging in entrepreneurship while earning their degree.

3A. ZELL LURIE INSTITUTE

Take the elevator to the third fl oor, which also houses administrative and faculty o� ces. Exit the elevator to the right, and head through the glass doors on the left. ZLI is located across the walkway.

6A. COLLOQUIUM

Return to the elevators and head to the sixth fl oor. Here you can enjoy spectacular views of the campus and Ann Arbor. Exit the elevator and walk to the right down the hall to the Colloquium.
