Doris Day Doris Day is an American actress, singer, and animal rights activist. Day began her career as a big band singer in 1939. She made her first movie in 1948 and soon became a popular movie star and singer. 1949
was her big year and this was because audiences started to like her talents, personality, and beauty. She appeared in movies in addition to several hit records.
Fun Fact: Premiere Magazine ranked her as #24 on a list of the Greatest Movie Stars of All Time in their Stars in Our Constellation feature (2005).
-I think Billy Joe included her in the song “We didn’t start the fire” because she had a tremendous year with various outstanding moments.
Marilyn Monroe
Probably the most celebrated of all actresses, Marilyn American actress, model, and singer, who became a major sex symbol, in many of commercially successful motion pictures during the 1950s. She received many roles in movies, and photo shoots in and was also the most famous actress of the 1950s decade.
-Fact: She had 3 marriages all ending in divorce and 2 miscarriages throughout those 3 marriages.
I think Billy Joe added
Marilyn Monroe to
the song “We didn’t start
the fire” because of her talents, beauty, and
the effect she had on people. (men) She was
bad.
Josef Stalin • Josef Stalin was the leader of the
soviet union was the dictator of the Soviet Union. He was a harsh leader who had millions of his people executed or sent to labor camps in Siberia. On his way to political power, he changed his name to Stalin, which means steel in Russian. In 1953, his big year. Stalin was popular for his success in war like World War II. He ordered the head of the secret police to instigate a new purge of the Communist Party. Before it could be executed he died and left a legacy of death and terror.
I think Billy Joe added Josef Stalin in the song “We didn’t start the fire” because of his standing in power. He accomplished many things and earned his power.
Fact- It was Stalin, after all, who said “I trust no-one, not even myself.”
Peter Pan
A mischievous boy who can fly, Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood adventuring on the small island of neverland. The boy who never would grow up was both outgoing and careless and was always an example of the selfishness of being a kid. In 1955, Peter Pan was presented live as the first full-length Broadway production on color TV, setting a record of 65 million viewers. He was awarded for various performance in a musical and the best stage technician.
I think he was included in the song because of the role he played on people and how entertaining he was .

• I think they were included in the song “We didn’t start the fire” because they were a huge trending topic that many people talked about and feared.
