Please avoid going around other cars in front of you. If you choose to drop your child off on the street, please choose a location where students can safely enter the building. Meadow Lane in front of the building should be avoided as is not safe for students to cross into the traffic on the street. If you need to accompany your child into the building, please park either on the side of the building or in appropriate street parking. Please refrain from parking in the spaces in front of the school from 8:45-9:00. This creates an unsafe situation when cars are backing out of the spaces and students are crossing the lot into school. Walkers and bike riders should cross the street only at crosswalks or intersections with stop signs. Please remind your children not to cross in the middle of a street or across the parking lot. Students should arrive at the school no earlier than 8:35 a.m. as supervision is not available for children before this time.

IT’S TIME TO GET YOUR “EDGE”! “EDGE” t-shirts will be available for purchase beginning Friday, March 8, 2019, for $8.00 apiece. All proceeds help finance the fifth grade class gift to Edgeworth Elementary School. The fifth graders have been tasked with a special research project this year. Their job is to analyze different gift options and make a proposal to the staff and the PTA regarding their recommendation. We are so proud of the Fifth Graders, and can’t wait to see what they choose to leave to the school! Students can purchase t-shirts every Friday at Spirit Shop while supplies last. JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT DAY VOLUNTEERS Volunteers needed: 4th & 5th grade Junior Achievement Days JA in a Day is an opportunity for Edgeworth students to learn real-world skills in money management, careers, and entrepreneurship.
