The theme for National Catholic Schools week 2015 is “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service”. The Catholic grammar school experience is unique because it is a living breathing example of “it takes a village” to raise a child. Without the support of parent and grandparent volunteers, we could not do what we do here at St. Bernard. I also want to recognize the teachers and staff of St. Bernard Catholic School who work above and beyond the school day to ensure that every student receives the support they need to achieve high academic standards, and for guiding them into a deeper relationship with God who is the center of all that we do here. We are fortunate to have Father Perry who supports us both financially and spiritually. The St. Bernard School Foundation and larger parish community also provide support that allows St. Bernard School to continue to grow.
