Joseph Leslie Slusher, 27, 5100 Glendale Community Road, was left alone with the child and his siblings on multiple occasions between October 2012 and May 2013, according to an arrest report filed by Lenoir City Police Det. Kevin Condee. Condee further stated that Slusher raped the child, who was 8 years old at the time of the incident, on one or more of those occasions. “The victim stated that Slusher told him he would kill his mother if he told anyone about the inci- dents,” Condee said. Slusher was charged with two counts of rape of a child and held on $200,000 bond. Pair found with stolen electronics A disabled vehicle lead to the arrest of two Chattanooga men who were allegedly involved in a burglary. According to a Loudon Police Department press release from Det. Brian Jenkins, officers stopped Tuesday to check on two men in a silver Chevy sedan when they noticed two large televisions, several X-box gam- ing systems, at least two dozen games for the systems, a laptop computer and several other small electronics. A 9mm handgun was discov- ered under the front seat of the vehicle, Jenkins said. Thomas Joseph Davenport, 30, and George Ray Evans Jr., 26, gave conflicting accounts as to how they came to be in posses- sion of the electronics. Both men were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and held on $2,000 bond. Detectives later discovered the stolen items were taken during a residential burglary in Knoxville. Loudon detectives are working with the Knoxville Police Depart- ment to return the property and explore additional charges against Davenport and Evans. April 5 Reyes Galvan-Villegas, 33, Oak Ridge, was charged with driving under the influence-first offense and held on $2,000 bond. Dispatched to a possible drunk driver in downtown Lenoir City, LCPD Officer Tim Buckner said the driver, Galvan-Villegas, stated that he had drank four beers at his work in Oak Ridge prior to coming to Lenoir City. Dwayne Thomas Hampton, 44, Lenoir City, was charged with child support and held on $391 bond. Eric Thomas Rader, 34, Seymour, was charged with domestic assault and released on $2,000 bond. According to police reports, a woman said she and Rader had been at a house party where Rader became “very intoxicated.” The woman said she and Rader had been arguing when Rader punched her in the side of the face. “The defendant was found in the Chili’s parking lot laying on the ground behind the dumpster at Chili’s with the victim’s phone and purse in his possession,” LCPD Officer Keith Sennett said. Joshua Paul Wright, 34, Lenoir City, was charged with failure to appear-general sessions and $1,000 bond. April 6 Bobby Lee Clifford, 38, Pom- pano Beach, Fla., was charged with a Knox and Sevier county warrant and released without bond. Christina Marie Collins, 29, Loudon, was charged with failure to appear-general sessions and released on $1,000 bond. Rosalio Gonzalez Granados, 26, Lenoir City, was charged with driving on a revoked license- fourth offense and released on $1,000 bond. Thomas Matthew Ma- rino, 66, Gibsonton, Fla., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, simple posses- sion of a Schedule II substance, manufacture, sell and delivery of a Schedule VI substance and manufacture, sell and delivery of a Schedule II substance and held on $58,000 bond. Stopping a ve- hicle for following another com- mercial vehicle too closely, Ten- nessee Highway Patrol Trooper Robert Woody said the passenger said she knew the driver, Marino, had marijuana in the vehicle and “that she did not want to get arrested for it.” “Upon asking the driver he stated that there was some marijuana in the sleeper area. He also stated I would find a firearm, pills and paraphernalia in the sleeper area,” Woody said. “A search of the vehicle revealed over 1/2 ounce of marijuana but less than 10 grams, approximate- ly 100 hydrocodone 7.5 milligram pills, 7 methadone hydrochloride pills, two metal pipes used to smoke marijuana with, two digi- tal scales with marijuana residue on both, and a Miroku 38 special firearm.” Woody said Marino also has a criminal history of marijuana sale and possession. Tammy Gail Tindell, 29, Lenoir City, was charged with manufacture, sell or delivery of a Schedule VI substance and released on $5,000 bond. LCPD Officer Tim Buckner said in an arrest report that during a traffic stop he noticed a strong odor commonly associated with mari- juana. After first denying the of- ficer from searching her vehicle, Tindell agreed. Buckner said he found a small pipe in the center console, a baggy containing an orange lighter, a glass pipe with a green, leafy residue and a small amount of a green, leafy sub- stance, which was later identified as hydro-marijuana, “which is a strong form of marijuana,” the officer said. Tindell said she had purchased the marijuana from an individual and then sold the marijuana to a man, a passenger in the vehicle, identified as Adam Ham for $20. During a search of her home, Buckner found a small tray that contained a small pipe and residue. Robert Matthew Watts, 39, Loudon, was charged with driving under the influence and violation of implied consent and released on $1,000 bond. Stop- ping a vehicle for traveling on the wrong side of the road on Fork Creek Road and Highway 11, Loudon County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Brandon Burley noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic bever- age coming from the vehicle. Burley said the driver, Watts, was slow to respond, had difficulty using his fine motor skills, and had red, watery bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. April 7 Martha Louise Brown, 36, Lenoir City, was charged with violation of probation-possession of a Schedule IV substance and reckless driving and held on $1,000 bond. Sammy Franklin Graham Jr., 24, Knoxville, was charged with violation of probation-Lenoir City and released on $3,000 bond. Lacy Diann Hickman, 25, Lenoir City, was charged with child support and driving on a suspended license and held on $3,500 bond. Jeremy Sean Martin, 38, Lenoir City, was charged with a Knox County warrant and released without bond. Donald Eugene Street, 57, homeless, was charged with failure to appear-general sessions and held without bond. April 8 Rodger Dale Arwood, 37, Lenoir City, was charged with child support and released on $650 bond. Bradford Virgil Cooley, 34, Loudon, was charged with driv- ing on a revoked/suspended license and released on $1,000 bond. Martha Jane Mills, 28, Lenoir City, was charged with juvenile court-Knox County and released without bond. Elijah Daniel O’Neal, 32, Lou- don, was charged with public in- toxication and held without bond. LCPD Sgt. Jeremy Dishner wrote in an arrest report that a retail store employee saw a customer was “acting strange and cursing employees.” Dishner talked with O’Neal, who fit descriptions of the customer and appeared to be under the influence. Brian Jeffrey Wong, 33, Maryville, was charged with driving on a revoked/suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a Schedule VI substance and re- leased on $21,000 bond. Stopping a vehicle with a headlight out, LCSO Deputy Jamie Ketner found the driver, Wong, had a suspend- ed license for failure to satisfy citations in 2013. “Mr. Wong had inside his vehicle, wrapped in a bandana, one marijuana ciga- rette and a screen,” Ketner said. “Underneath the passenger seat there was one empty baggie with marijuana residue in it and in the driver side floor board there was a yellow container that had one straw, with a white powder sub- stance on it, and approximately 1.4 grams of marijuana.” Brian Frank Zielinski, 25, Loudon, was charged with failure to appear-general sessions and violation of probation and held on $2,000 bond. April 9 Candace Michelle Baum, 24, Lenoir City, was charged with theft of property and held on $1,500 bond. LPD Det. Brian Jenkins wrote in an arrest report that Baum and another person entered a retail store on West Lee Highway and took merchandise valued at $209 and left the store without paying. Ashley Michelle Cannon, 27, Lenoir City, was charged with failure to appear-general sessions and released on $1,000 bond. Johnny Edward Duncan, 45, Sweetwater, was charged with violation of probation-possession of drug paraphernalia and man- ufacture of methamphetamine and held without bond. John Luther Easter Jr., 46, Lenoir City, was charged with domestic assault and released on $1,000 bond. Dispatched to a domestic assault in progress at a Highway 321 residence, LCPD Officer J. Alex Gambrell talked with a woman at the residence. The woman stated she and Easter began arguing when the two wrestled to the floor, where Eas- ter was holding her by the throat and struck her head several times, Gambrell said. Charles Wade White, 37, Lenoir City, was charged with theft under $500 and released on $1,000 bond. Responding to Old Highway 95 on a tip that White was at the scene with a disabled vehicle, LCPD Officer Tim Craig said White was observed earlier that day taking a tent from a retail store without paying for the merchandise. April 10 Kristen Lee Brashears, 34, Loudon, was charged with do- mestic assault and held without bond. A Greenback man is being held in Loudon County Jail after alleg-edly raping an 8-year-old child.

Joseph Leslie Slusher, 27, 5100 Glendale Community Road, was left alone with the child and his siblings on multiple occasions between October 2012 and May 2013, according to an arrest report fi led by Lenoir City Police Det. Slusher was charged with two counts of rape of a child and held on $200,000 bond.

Pair found with stolen electronics
