The Vancouver International Fringe Festival, produced annually by the First Vancouver Theatrespace Society, is BC’s largest theatre festival and North America’s most international Fringe Fest. This year’s Fringe Festival will feature over 600 performances by more than 80 groups over 11 days, and is expected to attract over 30,000 attendees. The Vancouver International Fringe Festival was voted Vancouver’s Best Arts Festival for �ve years in a row by Georgia Straight readers.

If you found this program on a bus and want another, then you can find copies at community centres, theatres, and Fringe friendly businesses. You can also find copies at Blenz Co�ee locations. Or you can download a copy from our website at vancouverfringe.com. Or you can download the VanFringe App for your iPhone!

Some people meticulously read all the show descriptions and pick their favourites. Others just see shows at random. You decide how to attack the Festival. Use the Master Schedule on page 25-28 to help, or head to our website and search by show title, date, or venue. Taking risks is what the Fringe is all about, so be spontaneous! For the real Fringe feel, see multipleshows per night—and see at least one show that’s not on Granville Island.

Tickets are available online through our website at vancouverfringe.com or at the Fringe Box O�ce located in the parking lot next to the Waterfront Theatre on Granville Island. Look for the half price ticket symbol for a great deal or try to get a Frequent Fringer Pass ($90 for 10 di�erent shows!). Frequent Fringer Passes are limited so hop to it! Check the Ticket Information on page 6 for details.

Without your one-time membership fee, there simply could not be a Festival. That’s because 100% of the regular ticket price of each show goes directly to the artist. Memberships can be purchased online, at the Fringe Box O�ce, or at any venue for $5
