Jesus…

• Is the Word, the Living-Revealer of God. 1:1-2 • Gives those who believe the right to become children of God. 1:12-13 • Is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. 1:29 • Revealed his true identity to a woman—a marginalized woman. 4:1-42 • Invites us into a relationship, not a religion. 5:37-40 • Promises to quench our spiritual hunger and thirst. 6:35 • Declares he is God. 8:58 • Guarantees no one can snatch his sheep from his hand. 10:28 • Is broken hearted over the brokenness in our world too. 11:33 • Washed his friends’, and betrayer’s, feet. He told us to do the same. 13:1-17 • Told us to remain in his love, and to allow his words to remain in us. 15:5-10 • Explains apart from him we can do nothing, but in him we can bear much fruit. 15:5 • Encourages us that in this world we will have trouble, but we should take heart

because he has overcome the world. 16:3 • Gives a new command: Love one another. 15:11 • Lived the perfect life we couldn’t live, and died the death we should have died. He

finished the work as a sacrifice for our sins on the cross. 19:30 • Didn’t stay dead. He conquered death and sin and offers us new life with him. 20:1-31 • Asks us to believe in him—to follow him. John 21:1-25
