Not much clear or definitive proof about the power of video however…
Some studies have shown that video against non video improved listening comprehension. (1)
( first experiment more interesting) Some studies have show that video made listening
easier to understand and more interesting. Held attention of the students.(2)
Studies have show benefits to paralinguistic clues (3) Bring in additional schemata, infer, predict (4) Stimulus (4) Culture (4) Context especially in ESP (5) Lower anxiety (5)
