Headteacher’s Welcome

Love, Laugh , Learn I am delighted that everyone arrived back in school safely after the summer break. Children in Years 1 & 2 were eager and happy to return. The Reception and Nursery children have settled well and we look forward to more nursery children starting next week. As always we have high expectations and no barriers will be too great for us to overcome to ensure every child a successful year. We believe the firm foundations we set down through our beliefs, curriculum and teaching will help our children to manage life’s challenges. Our Golden Rules will help children to achieve this:

We are kind We are gentle

We look after property We listen

We are honest We work hard

We will continue to strive to make our school a caring community and our children sensitive to the needs of others; a community in which all members have a sense of fairness and justice and the contribution of each member is valued. I always encourage an open dialogue with parents. Teachers and support staff are on the playground each morning and at the end of the school day. Please feel free to talk through any concerns you may have. If you require an appointment to speak with me please do so through the school office. I look forward to seeing you in and around school. Yours sincerely Mrs Denise Garner Executive Headteacher Bed (Hons) ,NPQH
