• technology - the total knowledge and skills available to any human society for industry, art, science, etc

Invent a New Technology• groups of 2-3 or you may work by yourself• each person is going to make a list of 5-10

items but their lists will be of different things – a junk drawer in the kitchen or in the garage– Items at a drugstore– items in a pocketbook or glove

• GOAL: Come up with an innovative technological invention that combines at least 1 item from each person’s list.

• You have several minutes to brainstorm and write down their ideas.

• Share ideas with the whole class. – Discuss how these inventions are innovative and how

they can help the world—improve something in modern day society.

– by the end of the week the students are going to be coming up with a unique new technological invention that will improve a current societal issue.
