2010 – 2013: Draft Act on “Fiscal Measures for Environmental Management” [Regulated by Fiscal Policy Office, Ministry of Finance]
- Draft Royal Decree Prescribing Rules, Procedures, Conditions and
Management of Revenue Generated from Product Fees, B.E. ……
- Formulated by Pollution Control Department pending
2013 - present: Draft Act on “the Management of Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment and Other End-of-Life Products B.E…”
(EPR concept) [Regulated by Pollution Control Department ongoing

Producers/Importers • Provide take-back and collection channels
• Register, submit, and comply with WEEE management plan
Consumer • Return WEEE to the distributor, take-back center or authorized factory
• Ban on discard of WEEE in the public place, abandoned site or in MSW stream
Take-back Center • Refrain from product dismantling, except inspection purposes
• Send the collected WEEE to authorized factory
