Prepares for rough draft

Number your sections

Section 1: Paragraphs 1-3: Intro-My Plan

Section 2: Paragraphs 4-9: The Experiment-The Brain-Scanning Procedure

Section 3: Paragraphs 10-16: The Brain in Love-The Dopamine Mother Lode

Focus on one section at a time. When you doforget the other sections, they dont exist right now. It wont hurt their feelings, you gotta do what you gotta do. Am I right or am I right?

For each section write:

What its about the main points which are specific to section.

Write 3-4 bullet points for each sectionYou must completely understand the section, meaning you might want to re-read it and then read itagain.

Illustrate your Mind Map... Read instructions! In your groups (pivot!) select a group captain

Captains: Not only do you ask the questions, but you are in charge of making sure each member of your group participates and comprehends the task at hand.

Questions/Prompts:

Discuss the information found in Section 1. What is it about?

On your maps, what information do we have that is the same? What information do we have that is different?

9. Is there anything we need to change on our maps? Everyone needs to add one piece of information to their maps.

Are we confident with the information in section 1? What do we need to clarify as a group?

Write a question you have about the text and ask your group the question.
