Centre proposes changein child care leave policy for womenNEW DELHI, Jan 12:

No woman Governmentemployee will be refused childcare leave for at least five daysunless there are grave andextraordinarily compelling cir-cumstances that warrant refusal,according to a proposal by theCentre.

The Department ofPersonnel and Training (DoPT)has decided to modify neces-sary service rules in this regardand sought all ministries com-ments.(PTI)
