Alternatively, if you are looking for a different sort of ceremony, let the Spineto Estate inspire you. It is not uncommon for a couple visiting the estate in search of the perfect venue declare: “This is the place.” We will strive to create the perfect atmosphere in the place you have chosen to tell your loved one, “I do”.

The Reception

The Abbey courtyard, the Absidi park, the forecourt of the church, the garden of the “Sorgente” house – with its views stretching out over the Val d’Orcia – or even the monastery hall or the cellars.

Numerous options from which to choose the best solution for a joyful moment with friends and family.

We can accommodate up to 250 people for cocktail party, and up to 200 diners.

Religious weddings are conducted in the Romanesque “Church of the Holy Trinity of Spineto”, right beside the Abbey.

We know what you like, and we know how to deliver the very best that our location and venue have to offer. Therefore, we invite you to come on a journey of discovery, of place and flavour, enjoying traditional Tuscan cooking reinterpreted and presented with the style and elegance your wedding demands.

Food and aperitif stations in the garden, a tour of our cellars and, finally, the main, sit-down meal.

Impressive venues, such as the “Sala del Capitolo” – the old monastery’s assembly hall – the Abbey’s courtyard, or seated round a single, prodigious table in the “Parco delle Absidi”.

If you are looking for a wedding venue with a view, here is the perfect solution. It is possible to organise small wedding ceremonies, with 10 to 50 people, in some of the estate’s converted farm buildings.

Farwell brunch

Brunch served late in the morning – usually from 11 am to 1 pm –instead of breakfast.

A delightful, alternative way to express your thanks (again) to your guests before you say goodbye.

Usually served in the garden, with Italian breakfast options – fruit, pastries, bread and focaccia, jams and preserves, yoghurt, ricotta –along with more northern favourites such as omelettes, savoury baking, ham, salmon and, why not, another glass of bubbly!

Accommodation options

The Spineto Estate offers various accommodation options. Your party can enjoy exclusive use of the Abbey building, or stay at the estate’s various converted buildings.

Different options for accommodation and length of stay can be combined in line with your requirements.

Many of our guests take advantage of the opportunity and stay for the whole week in one of the houses on the estate (each of which has its own pool).

Staying in a traditional farmhouse is the best, and most authentic way to experience Tuscany: lunch by the pool and aperitifs at sunset.

Our converted outbuildings can be booked without additional services, or with breakfast and/or other catering options included.

Other guests, meanwhile, prefer just to stay for a couple of nights, either side of the wedding, in one of the rooms we reserve for bed & breakfast accommodation.

In contrast to all other venues, Abbazia di Spineto offers a complete wedding planning service at no extra cost. This service includes:

- Planning of the wedding ceremony

- Event styling in consultation with the bride and groom
