Our spectacular indoor and outdoor sites offer dramatic sunsets over Mount Pisgah and provide the perfect

setting to accommodate events of all sizes and styles. Whether you envision an intimate gathering with your

closest friends and family or an extravagant multi-day celebration, we’re here to help your dream come

to life. The Horse Shoe Farm offers venue space for your ceremony and/or reception along with on-site

accommodations for up to 44 guests for three consecutive nights.

At The Horse Shoe Farm, we are committed to providing personal attention to every detail. You will enjoy exclusive use of the

property and luxury accommodations for up to 44 guests for three consecutive nights. We offer a number of picturesque locations

for your event(s), all of which can be personalized to accommodate your vision at your favorite time of day or evening.

The Horse Shoe Farm venue and homes have specific fees that vary by the time of year and include:

The Horse Shoe Farm requires that couples employ the services of a professional Wedding Planner from our approved planner list.

Other wedding professionals may be considered on a case by case basis at the discretion of our management team. We are also

THE SILO COOKHOUSE THE SUNSET BARN

Rental of The Horse Shoe Farm grounds and homes includes your choice of an enchanting setting for your ceremony, and/or

reception. Together with your Wedding Planner and our Venue Coordinator, you’ll have the opportunity to transform our space into

the wedding of your dreams. Be sure to ask about sites available in our Low Season and the opportunity to say “I Do” in a winter

wonderland.

This is where we gather to eat, drink, and indulge - the spot on

the Farm to literally feed your soul. Featuring indoor and outdoor dining, our lounge, commercial kitchen, there is no place better

to savor each meal and our magnificent sunsets.

Set atop the highest point on the property, this site allows for spectacular sunsets. With 6,500 sqft of climate-controlled space, the building is divided into two areas, allowing your celebration

to flow effortlessly from a cocktail party to the main event.

THE BIG SKY BARN

The perfect year-round site offering 6,000 sqft of open,

climate-controlled space, this site is centrally located on the Farm, with majestic views of the Mt. Pisgah

vista. It can be easily occupied on its own or seamlessly combined

with our other facilities.

THE MAGNOLIA MANOR COVERED BRIDGE

The grounds of The Magnolia Manor offer a lush lawn spread across 5 acres of gently sloping

land. Proving to be a favorite ceremony site, say “I do” while the sun sets over Mt. Pisgah painting

the sky with vibrant colors for your wedding.

The Covered Bridge and Gazebo are the perfect backdrop for any

ceremony. Serene and picturesque, this sit offers scenic pond views across our pastures combined with the peaceful sound of the babbling creek running along

nearby.

PASTURES & FIELDS

For a totally unique experience, the pastures and fields of the Farm may be enjoyed with the

accompaniment of large canopy tents becoming one with nature

under the star-lit sky. The sky really is the limit when selecting this site

for your upcoming event.

What is the timing for my wedding?

The start time for your ceremony is flexible based on your desired program of events. Amplified music must be turned off with guest

departure by 11:00 pm.

Will I have exclusive use of the property?

Yes. Your exclusive use of the property will begin at 4pm on the day of arrival (typically Thursday for weekend weddings) and

extend through 12pm on the day of departure (typically Sunday.) Use of the property outside of your scheduled event time is

limited to guests staying on property.

How many guests can sleep on-site?

Luxury accommodations for up to 44 guests have been included in the price quoted by The Horse Shoe Farm.

Do you allow decorations?

Yes! We welcome decorations, such as flowers, candles, and lighting. We do not allow anything to be applied to the walls or building

that will cause damage. If you choose to use candles, we require that they are in containers or on a stand to prevent damage to

surfaces or linens. We do not allow organic or inorganic confetti.

What type of music is permitted?

Our venues are designed for everything from DJs to full dance bands. Amplified music is restricted to inside spaces; however,

wedding ceremonies may have speaker systems for voice and appropriate music accompaniments.

What is the difference between a Wedding Planner and Venue Coordinator?

The Venue Coordinator is employed by The Horse Shoe Farm and is responsible for the day to day operation of our event spaces.

They’re here to answer any questions about the property, offer suggestions for planning leading up to the day of the event, and

then assist your Wedding Planner with the coordination of vendors and events during your wedding at no additional cost to you.

The Wedding Planner is hired directly by you and their fee is not included in the price quoted by The Horse Shoe Farm. We’re

happy to offer our approved planner list upon request. Based on your needs, they’ll assist with everything from design/color

palette selections to caterer selections, floral arrangements, photography scheduling, and many of the other details that make for

a seamless and stress free wedding.

Why am I required to hire a Wedding Planner? Can I designate a friend or family member as my planner?

The Horse Shoe Farm works with qualified Wedding Planners to ensure your event runs smoothly. Because there are many moving

parts involved in the events leading up to, during, and after your ceremony/reception, it is necessary to hire a professional to

oversee the process. The selection of a Wedding Planner must be made from our approved planner list which is available upon

request. Requests for other wedding professionals may by reviewed on a case by case basis at the discretion of management. A

friend or family member would not be appropriate unless they are a full-time wedding professional.

WEDDING SERVICESFAQ’s

How long will you reserve a date for my event?

Unfortunately, we are unable to hold dates on a tentative basis. You will have ten days from the date the contract is issued to sign

and return the agreement, along with the initial payment.

What is the payment schedule?

An initial payment equal to fifty-percent of the Rental Fee (Venue Fee + Accommodation Fee) is due upon signing the contract. The

security deposit and final payment on the balance of the Rental Fee is due 30 days prior to the event. Payment of the Rental Fee

must be made in the form of cash or a check drawn on an FDIC insured back account. Non-US funds and/or credit-card payments

will not be accepted as payment for the Rental Fee.

What is the security deposit?

The security deposit is set in two tiers: $1,500 for up to 150 guests and $2,000 for over 150 guests. This is to cover any potential

damage by your guests, and will be refunded ten business days following the event. If any damages have occurred, you will be

notified, and we will bill you for any repairs over and above the deposit. Security deposits must be paid by having a credit card on

file with The Horse Shoe Farm. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Can my guests pay for their own accommodations?

Your invited guests are welcome to pay The Horse Shoe Farm directly for their own accommodations and/or any portion of your

reservation. Please inquire for details.

What happens if I need to reschedule my event?

Should you need to reschedule your event more than nine months prior to the event date, fifty percent of the initial deposit will be

applied toward the new event date. Should you need to reschedule your event less than nine months prior to the event date, the

initial deposit and/or final payment are non-refundable and may not be applied toward the new event date.

What happens if I need to cancel my event?

Similar to rescheduling, cancellations made more than nine months prior to the event will be entitled to receive a refund equal to

fifty percent of the initial deposit. The initial deposit and/or final payment are non-refundable if a cancellation is made less than

nine months prior to the event.
