8:00 am - 6:30 pmWhat is BALOO training?
BALOO stands for Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation. It’s designed to introduce Cub Scout leaders to the newly expanded opportunities for pack overnight camping. It’s more than just camping—it includes ideas for outdoor activities, games and ceremonies; information on selecting and using camping equipment; how to run a campfire program; and hands‐on Cub Scout cooking demonstrations! In short, everything you need to know to make your pack overnighter a fun, successful event!
Why do I need to take BALOO training? Completion of this course is mandatory for at least one adult on a Pack overnighter.

Cubmasters and Assistant Cubmasters
Den Leaders and Assistant Den Leaders Any Cub Scout leaders or parents
BALOO includes information on:
Planning for camping with Cub Scouts
Health and safety Outdoor Activities Meal preparation
Gear and Equipment
When: Saturday, June 3, 2017 (8-4 for BALOO only, 4-6:30 for additional Webelos specific topics)

$15.00 – Includes lunch and course materials
Bring: Pencil or pen, pocket knife, leader books, mug or cup, and a folding chair.
Be prepared for cold or rainy weather. This is a rain or shine event.
