From the Band Director:
Thank you for coming to the first AHS band concert of the school year. I am very pleased to be in the middle of my second year as the director of Bands at AHS. I get to work with a fantastic group of musicians as we strive for a high level of musical performance, and I hope that our effort is unmistakable as you observe tonight’s concert. I had a specific goal this year to strengthen the instrumentation of my three band classes in order to create three independent and sustainable performing groups. I am very pleased with the outcome of this effort, and I ask for your loyal support as I continue to recruit and retain students for this program. Thank you for involving your child in the world of music. The gift of music is an amazing and unique treasure that will be with your child for a lifetime. Enjoy the concert!
Sincerely, Mr. Culbertson
