Come along and test your music knowledge & enjoy this event. Bake Sale Huge thank you to the Parents Association on the recent Valentines Bake Sale fundraiser. Special word of thanks to Edel O’Shaughnessy for the fantastic cake she made for the Valentines Day Raffle. Dog Fouling Awareness Dog fouling is an issue on and around our school grounds, the worst form of litter and has been one of the top issues of complaint from members of the public in recent times. Toxocariasis is a disease found in animal faeces and is caused by the eggs of the roundworm toxocara. Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets in public areas, but unfortunately some ignore their responsibilities. As dog fouling has negative health implications it is imperative that we strive to reduce the quantity of ST. Well done to Billy Kelly who represented Clare at half time during the Clare versus Roscommon League match in Cusack Park!

REMINDERSEaster Raffle Our Annual Easter Raffle takes place on Friday 23rd March. €2 a line each, with an Easter bunny for every card filled. Please return before Friday. 23rd March. Thank you for all your continued support.

Enrolment September 2018To date we have 17 children enrolled for the new school year. We would urge any new applicant to submit their child’s enrolment form as soon as possible. This can be downloaded from school website or obtained from school office.

UniformFull School Uniform MUST be worn by all children on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. School Tracksuit is worn on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please ensure that your child wears a school tie as part of their Uniform on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.Not wearing full school uniform is in breach of school discipline and also unfair to all the children who comply with ruling. Repeated breach of ruling – parents will be called to bring in full uniform.

School AttendanceSchool attendance is of utmost importance to everybody in St. Senan’s. Every school must comply with the legislation as set out in Education Welfare Act. As parents you are required to complete an absence note in the event of your child being absent from school. We welcome your co-operation in this regard.

Clothing AppealThank you to all who donated bags of clothes towards our recyle clothes drive. Additional bags of clothing can be dropped into the school at any stage for next collection date TBC.

Afterschool Homework ClubAn Afterschool Homework Club continues. The club is a huge success and welcomes further pupils at any stage (forms can be obtained from school website, class teacher or school office). Cost is €10 per child per week/€3 per day. From 2:30 – 3:20 Monday to Thursday.
