MAY 2014 DEVON CHAMBERS ANNOUNCES SPECIALIST REGULATORY AND DISCIPLINARY TEAM Devon Chambers is pleased to announce the formal grouping of our barristers who undertake regulatory and disciplinary work into a specialist team. The Head of the Regulatory and Disciplinary Team is Joanna Martin who has extensive experience as a criminal practitioner in this area. Joanna is a Category B prosecutor for The Health and Safety Executive, The Environment Agency and The Office of Rail Regulation. The Regulatory and Disciplinary

Team brings together the collective

expertise and many years of

experience of those working within

Devon Chambers. Members of the

Team undertake work dealing with

admissions, fly-tipping,

waste, pollution, statutory

nuisance, trade descriptions,

Proceeds of Crime Act and

confiscation, fraudulent

trading, taxi licenses, animal

welfare, firearms appeals,

professional disciplinary

bodies, Education Act

breaches and Gas and Fire

Safety Regulations.

The Regulatory and Disciplinary

Team is supported by our Clerking

Team which works hard to ensure

they provide a comprehensive

service and will be happy to

discuss your case with you to

ensure it is undertaken by the

appropriate barrister with the

correct level of expertise and

experience. Our barristers work

hard to identify sensible and robust

solutions to legal problems at an

early stage.
