Sofia the bunny was picking berries with her family; it was her favorite thing to do with Carry the carrot.

Then a wild storm came in. Because she dropped Carry. Sofia stopped and started to cry. “Come on Sofia let’s go”, said Sofia’s Dad. They got home; “hello I’m cooking.” said the family cook. (Sniff, sniff) MMMMMMMMM, that smells great!!!!

“Dinners ready”, said Morgan, (the family cook.) Sofia started to feel a little better since she knew what dessert was. But she is still crying. “What’s wrong my dear,” said Sofia’s Mom. “I dropped carry the carrot”, said Sofia. We will get Carry in the morning. “Ok Mom”.

The next morning, Sofia gets everyone up really early and packs bags to find Chippy like they were going on a hike or something. Sofia calls Flower the Fairy and meets them there. “I don’t see him anywhere”, said Flower. Then all of a sudden Sophie Sofia’s little sister started to play

with raccoon tracks.

“Look”, said Sofia. Then they started to follow them. It leads into the forest, so they kept going. Then there were three different trails, Morgan and Sophie went left, Dad and Mom went right, Sofia and Flower went in the middle. So they started on their journey until

they find Carry. Sofia started to get bored so she started to sing a song she wasn’t even on the 5th word when she and Flower heard the bushes start to shake. “Uh uh Sofia what’s in that bush”, said Flower. “Iii-don’t know Flower”. said Sofia. Something suddenly jumps out. it’s so dark in the forest they can barely see. But all they saw was the shadow. It started to crawl forward so they can see who it is. “Ahhhhhh don’t eat us mister monster”, Yelled Flower. When they saw who it was, they yelled “Roxy the fox”. “Stop yelling”, said Roxy. “Why are ya’ll up so early”, said Roxy. “We aren’t, it’s only 10:00 am”, said Sofia. “Oh”, said Roxy”. “What were you doing” said Flower. “Umm, picking berries”, said Roxy. “The berry patch is all the way back there”, said Sofia.“The berry patch is all the way back there”, said Sofia.“That’s why I couldn’t find them”. said Roxy. “Yeah”, said Flower.

“But if you want to come with us, you can”, said Sofia.“What are you guys doing”, said Roxy.“We are following these tracks to find Carry the “Carrot”, said Sofia.“Yeah sure I will go”, said Roxy.“We are going to follow the tracks the tracks to the waterfall if they go that far”, said Sofia. “That’s all right” said Roxy. They start to head to the waterfall. They are almost there when they start getting hit in the head by acorns. Then they hear a chipmunk laughing. Sofia glances up at him and sees that it’s Chippy the chipmunk. She doesn’t know what to do, so she said. “Do you want to come with us”. Chippy Stops throwing them and then he said. “Ok then”. “But I can only go to the sign just a little past the waterfall”, said Chippy. “That’s ok”, said Sofia. They start walking again. They start to see the waterfall. In no time they are already there. They go and sit on some stumps. And Sofia looks at her map.“The next thing we are looking for is the big sign right before we re-enter the forest”, says Sofia.

“I guess I can go with you guys all the way, I don’t think my mom will mind”, says Chippy.“That’s great”, says Sofia. They got up and searched everywhere but Carry is nowhere to be found, so they kept following the tracks. “We should go to the creek if they go that far”, says Flower. “Yeah”, says Sofia.

They start walking. “I see the sign”, says Chippy. The next thing they know they are standing right in front of it with Peanut the bunny. He says. “He is coming with us”, said Chippy. As Sofia and her friends were going into the other side of the forest, Sofia fell on a rock.

“Are you okay?” asked everyone nicely. She said, ”Yes, I’m fine.” But it was hurting very badly. But she didn’t tell anybody. By the time they stopped for dinner, her foot hurt so bad that Peanut asked, “Does your foot hurt?” “Very badly”, said Sofia. Before she knew what she said he hopped off. She was all alone so she started to cry. He finally came

back with herbs and handed them to her. She was about to eat them when he started to laugh. Then he said “You don’t eat them.” “Then what do you do with them”? He said “You grind them into a paste and then rub it on your foot.” She felt so bad. She said, “oh, um sorry.” “For what?” asked Peanut? “For lying.” said Sofia, and then they were quiet. So quiet that everyone thought they went to sleep. But when Flower the fairy came to see if they were asleep and saw that they were awake she asked, “Are you guys ok?” They said they were fine. Sofia got hungry so she went to get food. Then why is her foot wrapped. Sofia made a cough sound and said, “I got hurt when I fell on that rock back there.” Then she and her friend went to sleep. And in the morning Sofia was awakened by Chippy’s mom pulling on his ear, and he was screaming in pain. But she didn’t know that she had Carry the carrot. She got everyone up and then Sofia saw Carry the carrot and screamed with

excitement,” Carry the Carrot!!!” And then Chippy said, “I’m so sorry that I lied to you guys. They said, ”That’s okay.” Sofia took Carry the carrot and thanked everyone and went home. Peanut said, “I’ll walk Sofia home.” They all said that was fine. Everyone but Sofia said NO!! Then everyone turned to her but said nothing. Then Peanut asked “Why can’t I?” and she said “Because my mom and dad will want to know where Flower is, and then I’ll be left to tell them the story. So I think Flower should take me one. Peanut said “Flower already went home.” “Wait”, said Sofia. “She said that her mom called her on her fairy phone.” Said Peanut “But who is going to walk me home?” “Um I um would.” “Get it out” said Sofia peanut by then everyone was gone “oh never mind” snapped Sofia. “I’ll walk home by myself”. But just then peanut grabbed Sofia’s arm and said “I want to walk you home”. “Okay.” said Sofia “By the way I like you.” said peanut. “What” “I like you a lot” said peanut and

then they were at her house they said there good-bye.

FUN FACT: Beatrix Potter inspired us to right our book about a bunny. She died at 84 years old.
