Teacher Communication/Parent Expectation:
● Your assigned teacher will invite you to their form of communication (Email, Google Classroom, Google Meets).
● Make sure your current email and phone number are correct in your Parent Connect Portal.
● Find login information for you to access the student portal for myCNUSD.
● Become familiar with your child's Google Classroom and passwords to the websites your teacher will be using. You must login to Google Classroom through myCNUSD . Our class code is 6zsb7ti
● Clarify your teacher’s expectations for completed work and attendance if you are unsure.
● Check your email daily. Information will come to you from the District, School, and Teacher on a regular basis.
● Check your texts and voicemails for information blasts from the District and School.

Attendance/Grading:
● Students should be engaged in at least 2 hours of school work daily.
● Attendance will be based on participation in Google classroom activities posted by your teacher.
● Check Google Classroom frequently for assignments and announcements.
● Photos of work can be uploaded for teacher to review through Google Classroom.(Please download google classroom app on your phone to be able to take pictures to submit on google classroom)
● Multiple absences will be referred to administration.
● Work will be graded. Assigned work is mandatory, not optional.
Standards Based Curriculum:
Language Arts: Trimester 1 Skills• All Letters and Sounds• Phonemic Awareness- Beginning Sounds• Sight word list 1 & 2 in various formats (i.e. List, cards, text, etc…) • Concepts of Print (author, illustrator, parts of a book)• Listening and Speaking skills• Reading Comprehension (Listening Comprehension)• Holding a pencil correctly• Starting letters at the top and going down.• Using lines correctly• Writing name correctly (Capital at the beginning and lowercase letters
for the rest of them)• Starting writing on the left side of the paper. Going down to the next
line.• Copying/writing a complete sentence using correct sentence
formation. (Capital, spaces, punctuation)• Adding details to drawing.• Coloring inside the lines• Drawing people with body parts

Your Teacher will be using Google Classroom as the primary learning tool during Remote Learning. Lessons, assignments, announcements, and completed work will all be posted here. Use the District Portal myCNUSD to access Google Suite. Download the app on your device for easier use!
