Your regular home address must be within Flintshire You must be aged 8 to 18 at the closing date (31 Oct 2019) You must agree to use the funding towards your musical ambition. You must agree to your name and any photographs or performance videos to be used in
publicity. You must have the consent of your parent/s or guardian to apply for funding.

Award DetailsThe stated purpose of the award is:
To provide limited financial assistance to talented young musicians from Flintshire, specifically to aid furtherance of their musical talent.
Award Information:
YMs aged 8 – 18 whose primary residence is in the county of Flintshire, who either sing or play an instrument may apply. The cash-based Award is specifically aimed towards costs incurred as a direct result of the pursuit of their musical ambitions. (e.g. tuition, instrument costs, travel etc.)
The award is open for submissions annually from 31st May until 31st October
YMs must complete an application form and a 5-minute video showcasing their talent and outlining their request.
The application must also contain a supporting statement from the YMs music teacher/mentor.
YMs may apply for all or part of the available fund.
The key criteria is musical talent and financial need. (age will be taken into consideration)
The award will be provided to the YM/s who receive the most votes from Flint Male Voice members and their professional Music Team during a review of all applicant videos.
The annual available fund may be split amongst YMs, either because the requests of the individuals is less than the total fund or at the discretion of the voting members.
Review and voting will take place during a closed review meeting of the choir membership, in November each year.
The award recipient/s will also have the opportunity to showcase their talent during the choir’s annual festival concert (usually December).
Successful award recipients will not be eligible to reapply for 3 years.
