Ms. Samrudhi Parkar (TY.TSAD) represented India at the SDC-International

Design Competition, London, organized by Society of Dyers and Colourists, UK.

She had won the 1st prize at the National Heats in India, on 26th November, 2018, on

the basis of which she was shortlisted to participate at International level. She was

accompanied by faculty of TSAD Mrs. Sugandha Lad and Ms. Bijal Dedhia.

Ms. Ayushi Gala and Ms. Priyanka Sharma (with Mrs. Anuradha Shekhar) presented an

oral paper titled “Shelf Life Study of a Gluten-Free Nutritious Product – Globin Bar”, at an

International Science Conference “From Health to Wellness- an Interdisciplinary Approach”

organized by St Xavier’s College, Mumbai, 9th to 11th January 2019.

Ms. Mrunmayi Narvekar (TYBCA), Ms. Kiran Sawant (TY TSAD) & Ms. Pratiksha

Yevlekar (FY Bsc) performed Gondhal, Koli and Hojagiri folk dances at ‘Harmony 2018’. An

International Youth Peace Camp & Cultural Festival at Tripura, wherein 500 participants from

21 states, and 3 international teams participated, 21st to 28th December, 2018.

Ms. Mrunmayi Narvekar (TYBCA), Ms. Kiran Sawamt (TY TSAD) & Ms. Pratiksha

Yevlekar (FY Bsc.) won 3rd Prize at 19th Global Female Folk Dance Competition and Carnival at

Ghaziabad,U.P. 64 teams from 8 countries participated viz Arab Republic of Egypt, Bangladesh,

Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Indonesia, Nepal, Thailand.3rd to 7th January, 2019

Ms. Tanvi Patwari (co-authored with Dr Rupali Sengupta) won 1st prize in oral presentation on

the topic “To develop and study shelf life of eco friendly food crockery and products-

nutiredible crockery” at MEDINSPIRE 2019 an international multidisciplinary medical

conference at D.Y. Patil Hospital and Research Centre, Navi Mumba. 14th- 17th February 2019.

presentation on “Development of an Innovative Ladoo for Lactating Women and its Shelf Life

Study” and Ms. Purva Bahadkar and Ms. Palvi Bhosale presentated a paper on “Shelf life

study of a nutritious product Nutria lacto bites” at National level seminar on ‘Indian traditional

and functional foods’ at SRM University Chennai on 14th and 15th February, 2019.

Ms. Sakshi Mhatre and Ms. Pillai Gauri (FYBSc) won 3rd prize in a presentation on

“Digitalization and Human Behaviour” at a National Level Student-Led Seminar and Research

Competition organized by Smt. Maniben Nanavati Women’s College, Vileparle on 12th Januray

2019.

Ms. Sophia Surve (TYBCA) represented SNDTWU at the 45th Kamalnayan Bajaj Memorial

National Inter University competition at Wardha on 22nd and 23rd January, 2019

Ms. Anjali Pujari and Ms. Misba Mushtafa (co-author with Dr. Neelam Naik) presented a

paper on “Use of Bitcoin as a Cryptocurrency” at National conference held at LalaLajpatrai

College on 29thSeptember, 2019. The same was published in Journal of Emerging Technologies

and Innovative Reasearch, ISSN No.: 2349-5162, Vol.5, Issue 10, Page no.111-120, October-

2018.

2018 fron Maharashtra State Government on 27th August, 2018.

- A one day ‘Regional Level (Western Region) Symposium and Paper Presentation’ on the theme
