document.) Spellings: wind, window, fifty, fifteen, chimney. Put each word into a sentence. Read for at least 10 minutes. As this week would have been walk to school week, I want you to walk for at least 30

Tuesday Look through your WIO and complete any day that you have not done or finished. Tables Champion Read for at least 10 minutes. Maths: Planet Maths page 81 (screenshot included at end of this document). Go out for your 30 minute walk. Don’t forget to send your pictures! Last week you read the comprehension “Plant a Spring Window Box” and answered the

questions. That was called a procedure and we did some procedural writing in school. When you are out walking today I want you think about the steps you take in order to cross the road safely. Then, I want you to write at least 8 steps on “How to Cross the Road Safely.” Remember to start your steps using a bossy verb! Don’t forget your title and to number your steps! English: Write a few sentences describing your walk today. What you saw, what you heard, who you saw, what the weather was like, if you enjoyed it, who went with you, where did you go, how long did it take, when did you go.

Friday WIO: Complete a Friday Test that you have not completed. English: Read the comprehension: “Make a Healthy Lunchtime Wrap” and answer the

questions in your copy. (screenshot is at the end of this document) Read for at least 15 minutes. When you are out walking today, I want you to record all the counties in Ireland that you can

see on car registration plates, see if you can get all 26 counties! You can record your findings on a piece of paper of with pictures!

Gaeilge: When you come back from your walk, write down 10 sentences listing the things you saw on your walk. Start each sentence with… Chuaigh mé ar shiúlóid agus chonaic mé ______.

As I have mentioned, this week was meant to be Walk to School week, so instead we are asking you to get outside and walk (within 5km of course)! As you know, exercise is so so important for many reasons, so it is important that you are getting some everyday!
