It is the annual Big Bash Sports Day at St. Peter’s Academy. Everyone is really excited and they are especially looking forward to the silly sack race between the teachers!The sun is shining, the race tracks are marked out and parents are gathering around. However, disaster has struck! Mr. Patel has gone to the PE cupboard to get the sacks and they are missing! Fortunately, the sack thief has not been as careful as they thought they had been and some clues have been left behind.As Chief Inspector, you have to use the descriptions of all the people who were seen near the PE cupboard the day before and solve the clues to unmask the sack thief! A NOTE TO PRIMARY 7’S FROM STUART AND MARK AT BYCT

By now Mark and I would usually have been in to talk with you P7s about moving up to High School, but obviously we can't do that this year.However, our colleagues in Scripture Union Scotland have put together an online presentation which individual pupils can have a look at, at home which picks up on the three key ideas we would usually explore - the Changes, Challenges and Choices involved in the transition process. Its inevitably a bit different from the way we would do it, and the important element of group discussion is unavoidably missing, but we hope it could still be helpful. 

I know schools are doing what they can to prepare for transition in these changed circumstances, but we'd be delighted if you felt you could use this online ‘Its Your Move’ session within the focus of ‘Looking back, reflecting and moving on’ on this week’s home learning plan.
