Weekly Project workI hope you managed to find some white flowers to complete last week’s experiment. This week, we will be continue to follow on with the theme of plants.
I would like you to have a go at growing your own plant from a seed. This could be from:
a seed packet from a shop
a seed from a plant in your garden
or you could try and re grow from a vegetable you have eaten!
How to plant a seed How to plant from vegetables/fruit take a pot or cup put some soil in the bottom put your seed in the soil cover the seed with more soil place in a warm, well lit space
cut the bottom of the plant off place in shallow water until roots
form move to outside or a small pot
filled with soil dig a hole and place the plant
Remember to water your plant every day and make sure it gets enough sunlight.
You could grow two plants – one indoors and one outdoors – to see which one grows best!
