Warm-up:

What happens to people and animals?People get hurt, some die, some are injured, left homeless, drown, animals are killed and frightened.

Look at these two pictures. One shows Mrs Pyle’s house before it was hit by a hurricane. The other shows the house after the hurricane. Write about what happened. Use the underlined verbs in the passive voice and the past tense.
