Multi-Modal Multi-Genre Adaptation One Draft Two By: Caitlyn Hanafin and Molly Kinyon This is the product that Caitlyn and I have produced thus far. We recorded our questions to prepare for a smooth interview process. The video we have put together here consists of all the questions we are going to ask in our interviews. By preparing this outline we are making the production of the final draft easier because all we will have to do is insert the interview clips where appropriate without having to deal with bad audio, misspeaking, poor wind conditions, etc. Since this project is an outline into which future clips will need to be inserted, I need to refrain from publishing

Multi-Modal Multi-Genre Adaptation One Draft TwoBy: Caitlyn Hanafin and Molly Kinyon

This is the product that Caitlyn and I have produced thus far.

Since this project is an outline into which future clips will need to be inserted, I need to refrain from publishing it right now. I will have it loaded on my computer in class ready to share.

Questions:

1) What do the words “Historical Reenactment” make you think of?2) How do you best learn about history?3) Have you ever seen an Historical Reenactment?4) Do you trust information conveyed in the form of reenactment?5) If so, do you feel as if you learned anything substantial from the reenactment?6) What are your thoughts on modern Hollywood portrayals of history?

7) Is there anything that you would change about how you were taught history as a child?8) Do you feel that history was treated as a lesser subject in comparison to Mathematics, English, and Science? 9) Would you ever participate in an Historical Reenactment if presented with the opportunity?10) On a scale of 1-10, how interested are you in history?

After the finely edited questions portion of the video, I began to insert the audio overlay for the other half of this adaptation. It is still rough, but we finished this video with the intent to use it as an outline. We plan to re-film the things that are hard to understand, that need props, and that need photo overlay (such as the part of our skit where we make historical references – we plan to use pictures to make it easier to identify with what we’re talking about).
