Dear Parishioners:
I hope you are staying safe during these uncertain times. Although we cannot collect and donate food at this time, the Faith in Action Food Pantry is desperately seeking monetary donations to buy much needed food and other necessities. If you can help, please send your checks payable to Faith in Action and mail to P.O. Box 249 Galena, MD 21635.
Even the smallest donation will help our many neighbors in need ... every little bit helps!
MASS INTENTIONS There are still Masses available until the end of 2020 for your Mass special intentions. A Mass can be celebrated to remember a loved one, a special intention, a birthday, thanksgiving or an anniversary. Contact the Parish Office to schedule a Mass. 2021 Mass Book now open.

Dear Parishioners and Friends of St. Dennis Parish,
I hope and pray that all is well with you and your loved ones and the good folks of your businesses!
This is an unprecedented time which has caused significant challenges and one from which we all hope that we can emerge unscathed personally and business wise too. Our church is no different. Just as you have personal and business concerns including financial obligations, St. Dennis does as well.
To help raise the funds necessary for the survival of St. Dennis Church, our parish intends to hold its annual Bull Roast on July 25th. This event is one of the mainstays of our efforts to balance our budget and to provide a good meal and community fellowship. But, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we may not have our usual wonderful Bull Roast Festival on the scale that we experienced last summer. Our Fund-Raising Committee is trying to assemble as much interaction as possible within the government’s and Church’s guidelines for safe gatherings.
Crucial to our success has been the support of local individuals and businesses like yours. One form of this support that has been very popular in previous years has been to serve as a sponsor. We know that there have been business down turns and maybe your company has been hit hard. All we are asking is your prayerful consideration of the gifts that God has entrusted to your care. If you are able to be generous with your stewardship, we are grateful for your support.
The form for sponsoring opportunities is enclosed for your reference. The deadline for completed forms to sponsor is July 15, 2020.
If you can share in our efforts, please send your completed form, your business card or ad and check (to St. Dennis Church) and mail in the enclosed return envelope.
Thank you for whatever you can do to help the St. Dennis Church community so that we may better serve the larger community.
May God continue to bless you and reward your goodness!
Fraternally,
Rev. James D. Hreha, Pastor
