CLASSROOM PROCEDURES Enter the classroom like an adult and take
care of your responsibilities. When the bell rings, you should be in your
seat and working on bell work. Each day’s objective, assignment, and
homework will be listed on the board. Your homework will be due the following day in your class block’s box.
If you are absent or miss class, your work will be in the makeup box on the wall. It is your responsibility to get the work, ask questions, and turn it in within the same number of days that you missed. Makeup testing times must be approved by me, and I do this at 2:55 p.m. each day.
If you finish your work early:a. Read a book, magazine, or complete
other assignmentsb. Catch up on writing assignmentsc. Complete extra credit (nonfiction article
summary and reflection)d. Work on homework
All assignments are to be turned in to the box. Never put an assignment on my desk.
Procedures for Dismissal:a. We do not pack up 5 minutes before the
bell, and we do not “hover” at the door waiting for the bell to ring.
b. Clean your area and take all of your belongings.
