Note: The federal regulations that guide the administration of the Georgia WIC Program require that the State and Local Agencies provide information to WIC Program applicants and participants about other health-related and public assistance programs, when appropriate. See 7 CFR 246.7(b). It is the policy of the Georgia WIC Program to refer applicants who do not meet the income requirement for WIC eligibility to local area food pantries or other food assistance programs.

This Guide was developed to facilitate the provision of referrals for food assistance programs and services to WIC Program applicants and participants. While the Guide will be updated periodically, changes to the existence, location, and services of the organizations listed, or any changes in the composition of local food assistance providers may not be accounted for. Therefore, it is recommended that individuals seeking assistance from an organization listed in this Guide first call the organization to confirm its location, and to inquire about its eligibility requirements and hours of operation.

The Georgia WIC Program is not responsible for the services, policies, eligibility criteria and determinations, or other actions and decisions rendered by the organizations listed in this Guide.
