SUMMARY OF CHANGES
The following changes to MIL-STD-3031A have been made:
1. Global change – Flight Safety Critical Aircraft Parts (FSCAP) is now obsolete and has been replaced by Critical Safety Items (CSI). All occurrences of FSCAP have been replaced by CSI (FSCAP).
2. Global Change – "initial setup" replaced with "preliminary requirements"
3. Global Change – All fault indices have been changed from Data Module Type of Fault or Procedure to a Data Module Type of Descriptive.
4. Global Change – All references and BRs relating to S2000M have been removed.
5. Global Change - The use of all tech repositories, except for controls and indicators, is prohibited.
6. Global Change - Change "equipment breakdown" to "hardware breakdown"
7. Global Change – All references to the C-141 aircraft have been removed.
8. Cover page has been changed to update information.
