Character Description for The Emperor - example

The Emperor was the leader of many lands but ruled unwisely because all he was interested in was how he looked. He was a large, happy man and wore expensive, beautiful clothes all of the time. He was so vain that he was always looking in the mirror and going outside so that everyone could see him. He was a trusting person because he let two weavers make him some new clothes. He was incredibly impatient because when the weavers were making his clothes he sent his minister to go and check on them. He was quite lazy because he sent everyone else and didn’t check on them himself. He was a stupid and foolish man because he went outside naked where everyone laughed at him. He was a funny man when he pretended that everything was completely normal but really he was embarrassed.

Character Description for the weavers - example

The weavers were two cunning men who decided to trick the vain Emperor. They were very brave when they asked to meet the Emperor. They were devious because they persuaded the unwise Emperor that they would make him the finest clothes out of the finest material. They were clever men when they said that only intelligent people can see the clothes but fools cannot. The weavers were nasty when they let the Emperor go outside with no clothes on. They were untrustworthy and greedy because they tricked everyone and stole the gold thread and silk.
