UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF SITKA

Sunday and beyond

Our Mission Statement:

To proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, worship God passionately, foster spiritual growth, and provide Christian support and service.

The Giving Tree is a Ministry of the United Methodist Church of Sitka that provides Christmas gifts to those who may not receive this year. The Giving Tree will be set up at the Wells Fargo Bank lobby from November 23 until December 18. Please consider this opportunity to give to those in Sitka who are in need. The ornaments on the tree are tags with information about the age and gender of the child or adult. Please take a tag or more than one, purchase a gift for that person, and return the gift to the decorated box in the Wells Fargo main lobby. These gifts will be given to elders in the Sitka Pioneers’ Home, Sitka Community Hospital Long Term Care, SEARHC, and children at SAFV, Youth Advocates, and the Salvation Army. Donations of Christmas Wrap and tape will be appreciated.
