They brought him to Hindu Rao Hospital where the doctor declared him dead. It was revealed that he was shot dead. Case of murder was registered at PS Model Town.             1.  Nikesh Gupta (aged 29 years) S/o Late Jai Bhagwan

            Gupta R/o CC Colony, Delhi.  

            2. Lalit Yadav @ Pongi (aged 22 years) S/o Mahesh Yadav

            R/o Rajpura Gur Mandi, Model Town, Delhi.

3. Lal Bahadur (aged 40 years) S/o Late Raja Ram R/o Sec-7 Rohini, Delhi.

4. Gaurav Kumar (aged 23 years) S/o Madan Singh R/o Ram Dass Colony, near Baghpat Road Railway Station, Tatiree Mandi, UP.

5. Mohd. Adil (aged 23 years) S/o Ashiq Khan R/o Sangam Park, Rana Pratap Bagh, Delhi.

  

            All were subjected to intensive interrogation.  It was revealed that there existed enmity between Nikesh Gupta and his father Jai Bhagwan Gupta.  Jai Bhagwan Gupta was a trader of Khari Baoli and had a well established business of spices.  Nikesh Gupta was annoyed with his father for ill-treating him.  Also his father used to spend a lot of money and he felt that his father will squander away all the assets and money.  He came in contact with Lalit Yadav @ Pongi and conspired with him to eliminate his father.  Lalit Yadav @ Pongi hired contract killers for killing of Jai Bhagwan Gupta for a sum of Rs.10 Lacs.  Lalit Yadav @ Pongi then hired Rakesh Kumar R/o Rohtak, Haryana, Gaurav Kumar R/o Baghpat U.P. and Mohd. Adil R/o Rana Pratap Bagh, Delhi for executing the contract.  He also arranged Maruti Zen Car to be used in the murder.  A sum of Rs.6 Lacs as advance money was paid to Lalit Yadav @ Pongi and the remaining Rs.4 Lacs was kept with Lal Bahadur of Chourasiya Pan Bhandar.    

            On 10/01/2008, Nikesh Gupta and all the co-conspirators assembled at Chourasiya Pan Bhandar and it was decided to execute the murder when Jai Bhagwan Gupta went for a morning walk.   

            In the early morning of 11/01/2008, contract killers Rakesh and Gaurav equipped with country made weapons came in Marutin Zen, driven by Mohd. Adil and reached Pirya Darshini Vihar, Delhi.  Meanwhile Lalit Yadav @ Pongi had positioned himself at DDA Park, Kalyan Vihar.  On sighting of Jai Bhagwan Gupta, Rakesh fired at Jai Bhagwan Gupta but missed.  Then Gaurav came out from the car and fired at Jai Bhagwan Gupta from his country made pistol and shot him dead.  All fled away in Marutin Zen Car.  Subsequently, Nikesh Gupta called Lalit Yadav @ Pongi on his mobile phone and asked about the killing of his father.  Lalit Yadav confirmed that they have shot dead Jai Bhagwan Gupta. In the evening they collected remaining Rs. 4 Lacs from Lal Bahadur of Chourasiya Pan Bhandar.

            All the accused persons have been arrested under appropriate sections of law.  Local police of PS Model Town has been informed about their arrest.   

            Rakesh R/o Rohtak, Haryana, the other contract killer, was killed on 18/06/2009 in a gang war at Village Karor, PS Sampla, Rohtak, Haryana.

GANG OF CAR JACKERS BUSTED WITH ARREST OF ONE PERSON WITHIN ONE HOUR OF A CAR JACKING

With the arrest of one person namely Arjun Singh S/o Rameshwar R/o Vill- Naria, Teh & Distt- Farukhabad, UP South-West Distt. Police has busted a gang of carjackers. A case of carjacking committed by the arrestee with the help of his other gang members last night has been cracked, with this arrest and recovery of one Fortuner Car.

On 07/12/10 Insp. Naresh Kumar, SHO/P.S. Dwarka North along with staff including, Driver Ct.Sushil No.1683/SW and operator Ct. Kulbir No.1462/SW was on area patrolling when Ct. Sushil received a tip off on his mobile that a Fortuner car Reg. No. DL-3CBK-3003 has been robbed from Sec-19, Dwarka area. Acting promptly and quickly on the tip off SHO flashed a message in the whole area to seal all the pickets and started intensive checking to hunt for the robbed car. SHO along with staff also started searching the said car and while doing so the quick response of staff resulted in spotting the said car at near Kakraula-Najafgarh Ganda Nala on Najafgarh road. The said car was chased and stopped near the Ganda Nala by over taking the same. As soon as the car stopped one person, the arrestee, jumped out of the car and started running towards the Najafgarh Ganda Nala on which SHO and operator Ct Kulbir ran after him. The culprit jumped into the Ganda Nala to escape but Ct Kulbir No. 1462/SW without any fear of his own

life, also jumped into the nallah and nabbed him. Meanwhile the person at the driving seat of the car again started driving the car dangerously and tried to escape anyhow. But the vehicle was chased by driver Ct. Sushil No. 1683/SW alone. The sound knowledge of the route helped Ct. Sushil to overtake the said vehicle after a chase of two kilometers. By the time Ct Sushil came down of the Govt. Zypsy, the other culprit had disappeared in the dense bushes at the road side. The whole area and the surroundings were thoroughly searched with the help of different police teams. Further teams were constituted and sent to different areas of Haryana and Uttar Pardesh for the hunt of rest of the members of the gang. The efforts at various levels are going on to find out the other culprits.

TAILOR MARK ON SHIRT LED TO WORK OUT A BLIND MURDER CASE AND ARRESTED THREE ACCUSED

        With the arrest of Satander @ Sikander (24 years) s/o late Jainath, r/o H. No. 777/2, Ward No. 2, Subhash Nagar, Bahadurgarh (Haryana), Vicky @ Shiv Kumar (21 years) s/o Rohtash r/o Gali No. 3, Vikas Nagar, Brahi Road, Bahadurgarh (Haryana) and Sandeep (21 years) s/o Hari Ram r/o H. No. 806/2, Gali No. 3, Subash Nagar, Bahadurgarh (Haryana), staff of PS Kanjawala has worked out a blind murder case and recovered two motor cycles used in commission of crime and weapon of offence, two mobile phones, etc. of deceased.   

BRIEF FACTS / INCIDENT :

          On 04-12-2010, a PCR call was received vide DD No. 13B that a male dead body was lying in the field near New Rural Public School, Karala, Delhi.  The call was assigned to SI Ravi who alongwith staff rushed to the spot.  Meanwhile, Inspr. Mahesh Meena, SHO/Kanjawala also reached the spot alongwith staff and found a dead body of a male person in pool of blood having sharp edge injuries on neck and crushed face.  Paper cutter and blood stained piece of brick was recovered from the spot.  In this regard, a case vide FIR No. 228/10 u/s 302/201 IPC was registered and investigation taken up.

      In order to work out the case, a team comprising of SI Ashok Kumar, D/397, PSI Pramod Kumar, D/4689, PSI Ravi, D/4562, HC Rajesh, 477/OD, Ct. Satnarayan, 775/OD, Ct. Surender, 798/OD, Ct. Anandvir, 1496/OD, Ct. Sanjay, 95/OD, Ct. Mahavir, 2462/OD and Ct. Manoj, 807/OD under the supervision of Inspr. Mahesh Meena D-866, SHO/Kanjawala and Sh. Bishan Mohan ACP/Bawana was constituted.  A large number of local residents of the area were inquired into to have any clue about the dead body but in vain.  Since there was no clue about the dead body, the members of team focused on word “SRY” that was engraved on his right hand and tailor sticker “Jeet Tailor, Bahadurgarh” on the shirt of deceased.  The members of team traced Jeet Tailor in Bahadurgarh and enquired about the deceased who later on, identified the shirt of deceased but denied to identify the dead body.  On the search of old customer memos of Jeet Tailor, there was a memo issued in the name of “Siya Ram Yadav”.  The members of team made painstaking efforts and verified a large numbers of houses in the nearby locality in Bahadurgarh to have some clue about Siya Ram Yadav.   Finally, the members of team found a name plate in the name of Siya Ram Yadav in front of a house in Subash Nagar (Linepar, Bahadurgarh) and met one Ramyag r/o 1525, Ward No. 2, Subash Nagar (Linepar, Bahadurgarh) who told that deceased Siya Ram Yadav was his brother-in-law who was employed in Indian Railways and was posted in Kharawad as Gateman.  He had gone on his duty on 3.12.10 but did not come back since then.  Further he told that on 3.12.10, Siya Ram Yadav had asked him to bring his clothes at Bahadurgarh Railway Station as he had to attend a marriage function in Delhi alongwith Sikander, Vicky and Sandeep. The team members reached the house of Sikander in Subash Nagar and conducted enquiries about the deceased.  Initially, he tried to mislead the police but later on confessed to have committed the murder of Siya Ram Yadav alongwith Vicky and Sandeep.  At the instance of Sikander, motorcycle bearing registration No. DL-4SAY-6117 (Bajaj Discover) used in commission of crime, one mobile phone and purse of deceased as well as blood stained jacket of accused were recovered.  Further at the instance of accused Sikander, his associates namely Vicky and Sandeep were also arrested from their houses in Subash Nagar, Bahadurgarh and recovered another mobile phone of deceased and blood stained jacket and another motorcycle bearing registration No. HR-13C-2563 (City-100 Bajaj) of Vicky used in commission of crime.  At the instance of Vicky and Sandeep, a burnt bag containing shaving articles and tiffin of deceased were also recovered.

INTERROGATION:

      During the course of interrogation, the accused Sikander disclosed that deceased Siya Ram Yadav was his friend who was having his own house in Subash Nagar, Bahadurgarh.  He planned that if he would kill Siya Ram Yadav, he would easily grab his property.  Accordingly, he alongwith his associates Vicky and Sandeep hatched a plan to eliminate Siya Ram Yadav.  As per their plan, on 3.12.10 they asked deceased to accompany them to attend a marriage function in Delhi.  At about 8 PM, they left alongwith deceased and reached Tikari Border on two motor cycles where they consumed liquor.  They offered more drinks to Siya Ram Yadav to intoxicate him.  At about 1030 PM, they reached at an isolated place on Karala-Jain Nagar Road near New Rural Public School and murdered Siya Ram Yadav with a paper cutter.  They further disclosed that in order to prevent suspicion on them, in the morning Sikander visited the house of deceased and told Ramyag (brother-in-law of deceased) that Siya Ram Yadav was present on his duty and had asked for his lunch and bag.  Sikander further disclosed that he had thrown the lunch box in a nalah on Barai Road near Railway Crossing, Bahadurgarh and bag was put on fire by Sandeep and Vicky. 

PROFILE OF THE ACCUSED PERSONS:

1. Satander @ Sikander (24 years) s/o Late Jainath, r/o H.No. 777/2, Ward No. 2, Subash Nagar, Bahadurgarh (Haryana) has studied up to 10th class.  He is unmarried and has mother, three brothers and two sisters in his family. 

2. Vicky @ Shiv Kumar (21 years) s/o Rohtash r/o Gali No. 3, Vikas Nagar, Brahi Road, BAhadurgarh (Haryana) has studied up to 10th

class.  He is unmarried and has father, mother, two brothers and one sister in his family.  He works as labourer in a factory in Bahadurgarh.

3. Sandeep s/o Hari Ram r/o H.NO. 806/2, Gali No. 3, Subash Nagar, Bahadurgarh (Haryana) has studied up to 12th class.  He is unmarried and has father, mother, two brothers and three sisters.  He works in a factory in Bahadurgarh.

RECOVERIES MADE :

1. Motor Cycle No. DL-4SAY-6117 (Bajaj Discover) 2. No. HR-13C-2563 (City-100 Bajaj) 3. Paper cutter used in commission of crime 4. Two mobile phones of deceased 5. Purse of deceased.

                    Whereas a large numbers of complaints are being received that people purchasing liquor vends often start consuming in front of liquor vend and at other people places. Venders selling eatable and juices at time also station themselves unauthorizedly outside liquor vends which further facilitate this undesirable activity. At times, Baratis accompany Barats also openly drink liquor etc., on the Roads while the Barats are moving. Drinking in public is a nuisance with a serious potential to result in brawls and quarrels causing serious injuries/death and damage to public and private property. This affects the peace and tranquility of the area and creates problems in maintaining law and order. It is also a punishable offence u/s 40 of Delhi Excise Act-2009.

 1.                              And whereas it is necessary to take speedily measures in this regard to prevent danger to human life and safety and to thwart/prevent untoward incidence that may affect the peace and tranquility of the area.

 3.         Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 144 Criminal procedures Code, 1973 read with Govt. of India Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi’s Notification No. 11036/1/2010-UTL dated 09.09.2010 , I Mohinder Singh Malik, Asstt. Commissioner of Police, Sub-Division, Seema Puri, North-East District, Delhi do hereby make this written order for strict compliance by the owners of such liquor vends in the area of Sub Division Seema Puri, North-East Distt., Delhi.

 a)                                                      Install CCTV with sufficient number of Cameras and recording system to cover up to 50 meters area in front of the shop. The CCTV should monitor anyone consuming liquor of facilitating

consumption or liquor or any unauthorized vender stationed in the coverage area.  b)                                                     The CCTV system should become operational within 15 days from the dated of issue of this order.

 c)                                                      The recording system shall preserve a digital record of CCTV coverage for not less than 10 days.  d)                                                     The vend owner or his agent shall cause to copy the CCTV coverage on a CD on a daily basis which shall then be handed over to the Beat Constable of the area, against proper receipt in a register to be maintained at the liquor vend.

 e)                                                      Before starting sales for the day, the manager of the liquor vend should ensure the CCTV system is in a proper working order and in case

any defect inn noticed, immediate action to get it rectified should be taken. An entry should be made in the register and intimation in writing should be sent to the police station simultaneously to be got duly received from the Duty Officer of the police Station mentioning Daily Diary Number on the intimation.

 f)                                                                         During the course of monitoring of the CCTV System, the Manager of anyone specifically designated by the Manager for real time monitoring of CCTV Cell immediately inform the police Control Room at Telephone No.100 and also nearest police Station in case any illegal drinking in public or unauthorized vendor is noticed in the CCTV coverage area.     g)                                                                 The vend owner shall display prominently at least two bilingual sign boards mentioning the drinking in public place is an offence and standing of unauthorized vendors outside the liquor shop is strictly prohibited. Telephone number of nearest police Station shall also be mentioned on the signboards.  

4.         This order shall come into force with effect from 09.12.2010 and shall remain in force for a period of 15 days i.e. upto 23 .12.2010 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

5.            Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of the Indian penal Code.

 6.          As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is hereby passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of the public through the press and by affixing copies of the notice boards of the offices of all

NOTORIOUS ROBBER ARRESTED

On 07.12.2010 at about 7.15 PM, on the basis of secret information provided by HC Satender Kumar of Special Cell, under the supervision of ACP Bhisham Singh, has apprehended one of the dreaded robbers of East and North East District namely Mohd. Asif @ Chhota Pathan @ Babu Khan @ Salman @ Pathan, aged 25 years s/o Aale Nabi r/o Subhash Mohalla, Bhajanpura, Delhi from the Main Road, under the Railway Bridge, Old Iron Yamuna Bridge, Shashtri Park, Delhi. The accused is a close associate of dreaded gangster and robber Shah Nawaz who was recently released on bail from Central Jail, Delhi. At the time of his apprehension following arms, ammunition and other weapons were recovered from his possession:

1. One Country made pistol with three live cartridges of .315 bore recovered from his person.

2. One Country made pistol with two live cartridges of .315 bore recovered from his bag which also contained two Khukri (Daggers), One Cutter (used for cutting shutter/windows/doors etc.), One Khilla (for the breaking locks of shops/houses.), two iron blades of big size (for cutting the locks etc.) and some other such tools etc.

A case vide FIR No. 54 u/s 25 Arms Act, PS Special Cell, Delhi has been registered.

Accused Mohd. Asif @ Chhota Pathan @ Babu Khan, has been actively involved in several criminal cases of snatching, robbery, attempt to murder etc. and was recently released from jail in August, 2010. In jail, he met his old associate Shahnawaz, and both regrouped and started committing robberies/snatching etc. after their release from jail in August, 2010. On interrogation, he has been found to be involved in following cases which were unsolved so far. 1. Case FIR No. 248/10 dated 13.11.2010 u/s 382/34, PS Zafrabad, Delhi in

which he alongwith his other associates robbed a bag from a business man in a TSR from Seelam Pur stand, Delhi on the point of firearms. The bag contained Rs. 3,00,000/- and other important documents i.e. ATM Card, check book, PAN card, Driving Licence etc. After robbing the businessman, they left him in the area of Yamuna Vihar, Delhi and fled in the same TSR.

2. Case FIR No. 144/10 dated 30.10.10 u/s 356/379-IPC, PS I.P. Estate, Delhi

in which he alongwith his other associates snatched Rs. 20840/- from the sales man of Chadha Petrol Pump, BSZ Marg, Near Delhi Gate, Delhi.

3. Case FIR No. 165/10 u/s 379-IPC, PS Welcome Colony, New Delhi in which he alongwith his other associates have stolen the ECM Plate and battery of the car.

His earlier criminal involvements are as follows:

PRESS RELEASEThe Delhi Police feels proud of HC Satendra Kumar No. 1857/E, HC Rishi Pal

No. 1097/E and Const. Sudhir Kumar No. 1919/E of P.S. Gandhi Nagar for showing unflinching integrity and high professional conduct while faced with temptation and having an opportunity to conceal the recovery of huge amount of unaccounted cash from a thief in the middle of the night. BRIEF FACTS.

On the intervening night of 6/7-12-2010 HC Satendra No. 1857/E and Const. Sudhir Kumar No. 1919/E Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Delhi, while on patrolling near Old Seelampur Railway Crossing, arrested a person, later on identified as Mukesh Todi s/o Jhalu Todi r/o Village Bhaloi, Police Station Iton, Distt. Lakhi Sarai, Bihar, with a bag containing large amount of cash. They also called HC Rishi Pal No. 1097/E on the spot. On enquiry, the boy tried to mislead the police staff but finally disclosed that this amount was stolen by him and his associate Karan@ Pawan. The money was counted in the presence of a public witness and it totaled Rs. 29 lakhs. Later, on his disclosure, a raid was conducted at the residence of Karan @ Pawan s/o Jai Parkash r/o Jhuggi No. TH-28, Kirti Nagar, but Karan @ Pawan was not found there. On further raids at the rented residence of Vikas, elder brother of alleged Karan @ Pawan, in the area of Uttam Nagar, another bag containing Rs. 21 lakh was recovered from the bed. This sum was given to Vikas by Karan @ Pawan to conceal. Thus the sum of Rs. 50 lakhs was recovered from both of them. During interrogation, Mukesh disclosed that he, along with his associates, had burgled a house in Moti Nagar area on the intervening night of 03/04-12-2010. Police Station Moti Nagar confirmed this fact since FIR No. 367/10 u/s 380 IPC was registered on the complaint of Sh. Kuldeep Kumar S/O Late Shri Bhagmal R/O 20/23, 2nd Floor Moti Nagar an UDC in Delhi Jal Board. Al though in his complaint to the police had informed about a burglary of only 1-1.25 lac & jewellery from his house by unknown persons on the night of 02-03/12/2010 when he was out to attend his nephew’s wedding.ACTION TAKEN BY POLICE STATION GANDHI NAGAR.

Both the accused Mukesh & Vikas were arrested u/s 41.1 Cr.P.C. and the total sum of Rs. 50 lakh was recovered u/s 102 Cr.P.P. and the same was produced before the court of Sh. Amitabh Rawat, Karkardooma, Court, Delhi.

I.O. of the FIR No. 367/10, Police Station Moti Nagar was intimated about the arrest so that he may apply for police custody of both the accused in the court concerned.

The third accused Karan @Pawan is on the run.

DATED 08.12.10BLIND CASE OF GRUESOME MURDER OF A PERSON

WORKED OUT WITHIN SIX HOURS.

With the arrest of Smt. Santosh Devi w/o Nanak Chand Verma @ Nanhe Lal r/o Babarpur, PS Welcome, Delhi aged 40-42 years, wife of the deceased and Sh. Ram Kumar S/o Ram Dulare r/o Babarpur, PS Welcome, Delhi, aged 24 years, son-in-law of deceased, the North East District Police has solved out a gruesome murder.

INCIDENT: -On 07.12.2010, one person named Nanak chand Verma @ Nanhe

Lal S/o Sh. Kishan Verma R/o C-1183, Ist floor, Kabir Nagar, Delhi found dead in his room and the body was wrapped in a bed sheet. The matter was reported in P.S. Welcome and accordingly a case FIR No. 202/10 u/s 302 was registered and investigation was taken up.

TEAM:-To solve out this sensational case, a team led by ACP/Shahdara

Shri Dharambir Joshi, Inspr. Sudhir Kumar, ATO/Welcome, Inspr. Vinita Tyagi, ASI Mahavir, HC Rishi Yadav & Ct. Sunil was constituted to work out this gruesome and blind murder case. The officers of special staff also pressed into services to apprehend the criminals.

INVESTIGATION & INTERROGATION:From the analysis of scene crime, it prima facie appeared to be

handiwork of some known person as room was locked from outside and there was no disturbance to scene of crime & nothing was stolen from that room. Not even gold chain & watch of the deceased was found intact. There were indications to show that entry was friendly. Based on these basic parameters, leads were further developed by obtaining other information about his family background & friend circles.

When wife of deceased was contacted, she made contradictory statements and various gaps were found in her version. From corroboration from other sources, wide glitches were observed in her version. The creates suspicious towards her. When her background & antecedents were checked, things were found to be fishy. Armed with new inputs and corroboration including technical inputs, she was confronted with facts. At this she broke down and confessed her involvement.

During examination, she spilled the beans and revealed that she was having illicit relationship since last 6-7 years. He is the person who was bearing all household expenses of the family. She was not having cordial relations with the deceased, her husband. There were instances of frequent abuse and quarrel between them & in the family. The deceased was objected to her relations with other person but she was not willing to discontinue her association with him as he was funding her all requirement including financial assistance in purchasing house. This leads to divide between them, foster animosity and created bad blood between husband & wife. Both starting living separately as result of regular bashing. The Ram Karan, son-in law of deceased was also in the line of fire as he was residing with his mother in-law (Santosh Devi). The deceased also used to abuse him and maltreat him.

On the fateful day of Sunday 5th December, Santosh Devi in collusion with her son-in-law, Ram Karan decided to get rid of Nanak Chand Verma. At around 7 PM, both of them reached to the house of deceased and had fight with him. The Santosh Devi hit a brick on his head and Ram Karan overpowered him and pressed his neck. As a result of strangulation and head injury, Nanak Chand died on the spot. They hide and covered his body under the cot and after locking the room from outside, slipped away from the spot sliently.

MOTIVE OF MURDER:-The motive behind this gruesome murder was bitterness of

relationship caused due to illicit relationship. She engaged her son-in-law as she alone was not confident to eliminate him. He also joined her as he was also not getting along with him and having personal grudge against his father-in-law.

2. Sh. Ram Kumar S/o Ram Dulare r/o Babarpur, PS Welcome, Delhi, aged 24 years. He is residing with his mother-in-law. He is tailor by profession, having seasonal work.
