Part-time Filing Clerk, Carmody Torrance Sandak & Hennessey LLP, Waterbury, CT Duties: Assist Finance department on a part-time basis, approximately 10 - 15 hours per week.  File clerks are responsible for assisting with scanning and mailing invoices, organizing and filing documents and retrieving information from accounts payable and client billing as requested. Part-time Referral Representative, Yale New Haven Health, New Haven, CT Duties: Perform a variety of patient access functions to review, process and ensure timely completion of referrals to follow-up specialty outpatient care/services for Primary Care Center (PCC) patients. Ensure appropriate reimbursement for services provided and positive interactions with patients, family members, medical staff, third party representatives and hospital personnel. Effectively utilize computer systems to ensure that the responsibilities of the Registration Department are met. Perform certain statistical and QA functions. Qualifications: High School graduate with demonstrated continuing education at a college level program or equivalent experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Three or more years experience in a hospital Scheduling or Registration Department with emphasis on scheduling, registration and/or patient tracking functions. Skills: Word processing and spreadsheet applications in a Windows environment. Electronic patient medical record, scheduling and billing computer applications (Logician, SDK, EPIC, and IDX preferred). Ability to search internet and utilize web-based on-line eligibility systems for third party payer information and requirements.
