Protect / Preserve / Progress
Return to Work Q&AsPlease take the time to read and fully understand the recent communications on our
re-start protocols (accessible via the Hub and the Lotus Staff Info website:
www.lotuscars.com/staffinfo).
The following questions and answers are in addition to the information provide by
this earlier communication.
Who is going back to work and when?
Will there still be staff that are furloughed?
Some staff will remain furloughed for another few weeks. These individuals have
been notified.
What is the Lotus policy on PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)?
PPE will be provided where required across Lotus UK facilities. Social distancing of
2 metres is to be strictly adhered to, though we accept that this may not be possible
in every circumstance / job role. Where this is the case, PPE will be utilised, or it is
possible that process changes will be introduced. You will be advised appropriately
by your supervisor.
If I identify a concern in my area, what should I do?
I have to car share and I don’t have an alternative way to get to my workplace?
If you have any concerns how to get to work, please consult your manager /
supervisor as soon as possible.
Will temperature testing take place on arrival and how will this work?
Can I get lunch offsite?
We would prefer that you bring a pack-lunch with you, or make use of the Food
Delivery Service:
I have been told that I am to continue to work from home until a later date. Do I have to? Or can I come back earlier?
We would prefer that you continue to work from home until your planned return date.
However, we also recognise that for some colleagues, working from home is difficult.
If you want to come back earlier, please discuss this with your manager / supervisor
as we have a carefully prepared plan for return to work for all staff over the coming
weeks, with the situation under frequent review .
