Convention Prayer requests for Sept. 21: LINK-Being a PK (‘preacher’s kid’) can sometimes present unique challenges, particularly for children as they enter into their teen years. Approximately 80 clergy teens will gather September 26th–28th for LINK...a time of community, fun, worship, and encouragement in their Christian life. Please pray that the fullness of God will increasingly be revealed to these youth, and that they will be encouraged in their ongoing journey with Christ.

Potential Impact is an opportunity for students in grade 12 to begin to explore whether God may have gifted them and be calling them to prepare for vocational pastoral ministry. Please pray for these students that they will have discerning spirits to sense how the Lord is leading them.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND COMING ACTIVITIES

Sept. 21 3:30 pm The Gospel Lights in concert at the New Cornwall Baptist Church. Pot luck supper to follow. Freewill offering in support of the Mahone Bay Food Bank.

Sept. 24 7 pm Choir practice at the Church.

Oct. 5 7 pm Live in concert - Brent Reid of Cornerstone Ministries. Come and hear Brent as he brings us ministry through music.

Oct. 6 7:30 pm WI meeting at the Community Centre. We will be having an update on Lynn's trip to Rwanda - guests are invited.

The Sunday school is in need of volunteers to help teach.  If you would like to help out please see Terri. It would involve one Sunday morning a month if we can get enough for a rotation.  Christmas tree decorating will be held on November 28th starting at 6 pm.  It will be taken down on January 4th following church. Christmas concert will be held December 7th at 3:00 pm

Messy Saints - We have been asked to do Messy Saints on Nov. 14th - if this is a problem with anyone, please let me know. (Merna)
