General Web OPAC

The www_eng directory no longer exists. The icon directory has been divided into different directories according to application and is placed with thehtml files directory. For example:

/alephe/www_f_eng/icon

/alephe/www_s_eng/icon

This causes changes in references to the html files. From: src="&icon_path_eng/icon/f-go.gif"

to: src="&icon_path/f-go.gif"

General Web OPAC• You can now have multiple css files with base extensions to account for different BIB databases. Thissolves the need to duplicate HTML pages. If no such extension exists, the default exlibris.css file will be used.

e.g. exlibris-usm01.css

• The OPAC query now has a “sticky” functionality that places the last search query in the Find and Browse queryfield, per session.• A new drop-down list for selecting bases to search, was added to all search windows.

names starts with ‘-bor’ to disable the option of them being saved in the browser’s history. This way, a new logged-in patron cannot click ‘Back’ to see the details of a previous patron.

Display of Links in the Brief View

Supports display of multiple occurrences of $$u using anew table tab_expand_external (which defines how expand_doc_split_external works). The field tag must be listed in the table in order to display each $$u as a separate link.

Original data:

8564 L $$4$$uhttp://authorities.loc.gov

$$uhttp://dublincore.org

Output:

8564 L $$$4$uhttp://authorities.loc.gov

8564 L $$$4$uhttp://dublincore.org
