Zoom Feature:

Weather Radar has 4 arcs with grided lines which indicate the range of the screen.The first one is 160 miles ahead (shown in the next picture)Next zooms are: 80, 40, 20 and 10 miles ahead .There are also intermediates grided lines for ranges in between.

Tilt Feature:

Weather Radar scan for cloudiness 4000 feet below and 3000 feet above of the aircraft's altitude.Moving the angle to upper positions will move the scan rectangle up and moving the angle to lower positions will movethe scan rectangle down.See these pictures to see how it works:
